What a leap the Bucks madethis season! Does the credit go to Budenholzer or someone else? To me it seems that the roster has not changed much in the off season aside from Brook Lopez who really shouldn't have that kind of effect.

They have good players, (plus a clear star who they can give the ball to, always helps to have that sorted out) they are athletic and lengthy = good for this league
Plus they're just clicking better and getting more team spirit and chemistry going.

I wasn't trolling at all, not my fault you're incredibly defensive with anything regarding Lonzo. I pointed out that he's not good enough to be an all star in the West even if mentally he was better.

It's a internet forum, if i see something i disagree with im going to point it out, if you can't handle that then that isn't my problem.

As for Davis, nobody has criticised him on here more than me so i don't quite know why you think that would upset or offend me lol.

You’re talking about Bucks as if I wasn’t called crazy for saying I believed they’d be a 2nd/3rd seed. Nothing about their success surprises me at all.

Giannis is the best under 26 player in the league.

Most of it goes to Budenholzer. Though part of the teams improvement isn't from Budenholzer, but more from Jason Kidd leaving. That being said, Bud is the easy choice for COTY so far, and he's been amazing for the bucks.

Really, the team was held back and Bud is just correcting course.

Their off season moves have been important though. Lopez has been amazing, and his staying out on the perimeter to unclog the lane is important. Ersan is a decent player who can shoot it from three. Donte is a young kid with tenacity who is decent on D, while being s good cutter, decision maker, and OK shooter, a very decent rotation piece.

Put it this way, as far as off-season: last year we saw lineups with Thon, Liggins, Dellavedova out there all at once. Now you're likely to stagger and see Middleton play with Brogdon, Henson, Ersan, and Donte. The bench has been revitalized.

Speaking of revitalization, shout-out to Bledsoe. Bledsoe has turned the MKE 2 of Middleton/Giannis to a legitimate big 3. He doesn't quite have the stats that make it seem like it, but Bledsoe is playing like an all star. He might be better than Middleton so far. His defense is amazing when he's motivated, and it's clear Bud motivates him. I think he hated Kidd.

@Freeza and a good call. I predicted third over Philly. That was my hot take of the year.

Didn't expect Boston to be so bad though

Kyle Kuzma is ranked 3rd worst front court player in the league on defense.

At least he shoots 28% from 3 to make up for it.

I said he was overrated all last year and Lonzo was ten times better and Hart is a much better player.

Kuzma is only good at fast break running and hooks shots.

The defence was always a much bigger issue than the shooting, it was just an easy thing to point towards.

Agreed. Mainly because of LeBron and Kuzma. Though the defence has still impressed me, despite having a couple huge liabilities. Would've never guessed we'd be middle of the league in def rating through these games. If we'd had Chandler from the start it would've looked much better.

Defence can be a weird thing sometimes, for example we were top 5 to end last year (between when Boogie went down and the season ending)

This year we are 24th with the same personnel more or less and Randle, I'm not really concerned by it because I've seen them switch it on when they need to do but it's still very weird.
