Never mind, apparently the orders came from Pep he apologised to Jesus and didn't know Mahrez missed 5 of his last 8 PK

Lovren was amazing, but that is unfortunately the defining factor for the dude. He needs to foul the opponent to stop him.
Anyways, played Spurs away, City home and Chelsea away. Still unbeaten. Include Leicester away as well and we are still joint top.
I don't see how people are saying we are shit etc. Its too early for the negativity.

If you were any better than you are now, you'd be playing on the same level Man City were last season. So yeah, don't see why some Liverpool fans have become negative all of a sudden. You're deservedly unbeaten in the league and have room to get better with 30 games to. Hardly a terrible position to be in.

Yea exactly.
The fact Pep gave Liverpool so much respect says it all. He considers them as a real threat.

liverpool as people are saying are not in a bad position but people forget that a late lucky goal got us a point v chelsea and a lucky late pen miss got us a point v city so its fair to say that a fair bit of luck is why we are in this position. but like buster has been saying we have had some hard fixtures. we badly need the front 3 to step up from now on. we need to play some cannon fodder to run in a few goals to get the confidence going again.

Next 2 PL games: Huddersfield (A), Cardiff (H)
Calling it now though, Liverpool haven't conceded at Anfield since February and it's gonna be Cardiff of all teams that'll finally score on us at home after nearly 9 months Just one of those things

I swear all our games vs Liverpool always end up on BT.
In fact, I don't think any team has been shown on BT more than Liverpool.

It might because they think Liverpool attracts more viewers. Or just a coincidence.
Seems like this year they have tried to spread out the games more evenly. I am happy that there is a match nearly everyday though. But not sure why no match is being shown on 28th dec

Christmas/New Year is always nuts for football.
There might be a Championship game on Friday the 28th.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Cruijf wrote:The coach that wasted three years of his prime?
“The last season under Mourinho was not pleasant anymore, we didn’t win, we got into a sort of routine, training-training without having fun, it was better for all parties that the collaboration came to an end. If I’m now asked one coach with whom I want to work again, then I say: Mourinho.”
“If you win, Mourinho is the best coach you can imagine. Then he is a friend of yours – you can do whatever you want (laughs). Want one day off, he gives you two. If everything goes well, Mourinho will experience football like me: with ease. Even his own image of an extremely defensive coach was not too bad. He is far from adventurous like Guardiola, but the year in which we became champions, we have made many goals and played good games.
“I do not regret many things in my career, but that I have not been able to work with Mourinho at Chelsea anymore (is one). We had a team to get a lot of prizes, but we just ended up in a negative spiral.”
“In those twelve years of professional career, I have had one bad year – the last six months under Mourinho, and it was partly my own fault. After the title, we had asked Mourinho for extra holidays. I was totally out of shape at the start of the season, I remembered that lesson this summer – four weeks after the World Cup I was back in training at Chelsea.”

Anyone else seeing what I am seeing?
Hazard fears Mourinho might be on his way back to Real Madrid and he does not want his dream move to collapse.
So now he's singing this song. "I would love to work with Mourinho again" lmao. Clever.

Not many footballers would admit their own mistakes so fair play to Hazard. He took responsibility for the bad year under Maureen.

It's almost like footballers are mainly stupid and don't know what's good for them.

i can't imagine Mourinho coming back to madrid while Captain Ramos is still at the club. Our players are always consulted when we make this type of hiring, and their response wont be "yes, please, we miss him"Hapless_Hans wrote:Anyone else seeing what I am seeing?
