Leverkusen should be at least 3-1 up, but Volland squandered a great chance.
I wish they were showing that game on tv instead of watching Schalke chopping and fouling Frankfurt into submission
HT scores, Nurnberg leading the relegation 6 pointer
Stuttgart - Nürnberg (Sa.) -:- (0:1)
Schalke - Frankfurt -:- (1:1)
Wolfsburg - Hannover -:- (1:1)
Hertha - Düsseldorf -:- (1:1)

Bailey just scored for Leverkusen. Super finish.
VAR being reviewed though.
Edit: Goal ruled off. Bailey was offside.

VAR deciding that Leverkusen conceded a handball. Penalty to Leipzig. Forsberg scores it.

4-2 Leipzig. Leverkusen absolutely collapsed after that VAR decision. Havertz has vanished as well. Bailey the only bright spark.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Stuttgart - Nürnberg (Sa.) 1:1 (0:1)
Schalke - Frankfurt 1:2(1:1)
A mostly ugly kind of choppy game, that had late drama with a 94 minute red card to schalke and than a VAR assisted 98min hand ball penalty kick call. I dunno, I find since VAR that they call every hand ball intentional or not. For what it is worth , Frankfurt were the better team and maybe even deserved to win, but i dont like the call.
Wolfsburg - Hannover 3:1 (1:1)
Hertha - Düsseldorf 1:2 (1:1)
Leverkusen - Leipzig 2:4 (2:1)
Looks like the Pretenders snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again.

Uh oh, no El Paco to call off the bench today. Still, I think Dortmund at least get a draw from this.

Hummels is good at headers from corner kicks, but I am going to blame the keeper for not coming out.

@hans, I just realized that Alaba's contract expires in 2021. Has Bayern opened the extension talks with him?

That Zagadou guy is having a real mare. Needs to be hooked. He doesn't look fit at all.

What the fuck?
This Dortmund team is full of bottling cunts. Happened against Tottenham and it’s happening again.

Neither did I. Thought this would have been a Bundesliga thriller, turns out, a proper beating from Bayern.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
You know what I question: where exactly was this hunger and drive vs Liverpool? The talent is more or less the same but the sheer determination Bayern showed to win was actually commendable. Dortmund honestly had no time to adjust or recover even if you had given them the rest of the day to get it together. This was a serious dominating performance from Bayern.
The European Super League cannot come any sooner tbh.

The difference to the Liverpool game was that BVB were total, complete, utter trash. Cannot believe how bad they were. We're talking about the league leaders here.
A Ligue 2 side would have given us a better game than this pathetic heap of absolute losers, led by the fraud that is Favre.
Oh and the other difference: Müller.

If you are selling all of your players to the likes of Bayern or the WWEpl, of course you lose quality. Dortmund alone have sold Lewa, Auba, Mikha, Hummels, Sokratis they even have sold average players like Kagaw and Sahin.
As a league they are selling players like Ozil, DeBruyne, Frimino, Mane, Sigurdson,Leno, Gnarby Sane, even crap or average players like Mustafi, Rudiger,Can or Kolasinac. And that is just the tip of the iceberg, half the Huddersfeild team were Bundesliga players, not to mention Pulisic and Sancho will probably be gone in the summer. So yeah the state of the league is not great, you cant sell your good, or not even good, but average players all the time.
What it is good for though, is a team like Werder can make the UCL again, OK, at least Europa.
