Dortmund seem to have this knack for getting a lot of money for players who dont quite make it. Sahin, Kagawa, Gundogan,Goetze come to mind, dont know how Pulisic will do, time will tell. Be good for football in North America if he does not become a Chelsea loanee project.

Did the clocks change in Europe, the Bayer v Werder is on early?

Werder sticking it to the Pretenders, Harnik now coming on to finish them off. I think I predicted a draw for this one.

My thoughts exactly. Early goal has diminished Mainz's chances and my interest in this game. Adios.

Not that I'm confident this will be an interesting game, but I can asure you that a one goal lead means nothing for us under Kovac.

We will surely concede the equalizer soon.

Gutted about the Zidane return to Madrid only for the reason that now we don't get rid of James, who's just not that good.

what has Zidane got to do with that? it's still up to you to pay that sweet 45 mil to keep James. If you CHOOSE not to do that, he is back in madrid and we sell him to the highest bidder.

You're right. I didn't quite say it right. Let me explain.

My feeling is that whether James stays with us or not is dependent on whether he wants to stay as much as whether we want him to stay.
If he wants to stay, I think the club is likely to buy him because they think he's a decent player and it's a good deal. (Which it is, but I'm still against it)

During the winter I had the feeling James was prefering a return to Madrid, and in that case the matter would have been resolved. We wouldn't exercise the buy option if he doesn't want to stay.

But now, he likely will want to stay.

Should have said, the chances that he stays have increased with the Zidane return.

Let's be real, Bayern as a rebuilding team will not find a player better than James at 45 millions on the market. I never expected James to comeback for this simple reason, the deal is too good to pass up.

Bosz is unbelievable, really.

He lines his Leverkusen up like the most attacking version of Pep's lineups, a 4-1-4-1 with all of Bailey, Havertz, Brandt, and Bellarabi playing behind Volland, and Baumgardtlinger the only central midfielder.
Then he's got Mitchell Weiser at RB who's basically another winger.
And then unlike Pep he has no clue how to get his team's against the ball work, and balance, right.

So now they're being trashed by Hoffenheim, because hey it's only top level football, who cares about results?

didnt see the match, but to be fair to Bosz, every single stat-except for the one which counts the ball going in the rectangle thing-favoured the Pretenders.

I got a bad feeling Dortmund drop points today.

The big question now is can the team and manager of the year making up enough points to grab fourth.

HT Scores

Dortmund - Wolfsburg (Sa.) -:- (0:0)
Good news for BVB is Bayern is being held for the moment

Freiburg - FC Bayern -:- (1:1)
Bayern deserve to be losing, if for no other reason then disrespecting Freiburg by starting reserve players like Ulreich, Muller, Boateng, Rafina, Coman etc.

Bremen - Mainz -:- (2:0)
Werder back in the UCL? It ould happen

Nürnberg - Augsburg -:- (0:0) Live

Düsseldorf - Gladbach -:- (3:0)

Dortmund - Wolfsburg (Sa.) 2:0 (0:0)
Late goals from Dortmund, gives them a slight advantage in the table.

Freiburg - FC Bayern 1:1 (1:1)
Freiburg hang on, next weeks game vs BVB decides the title, but advantage Dortmund now.

Bremen - Mainz 3:1 (2:0)
Werder for the UCL

Nürnberg - Augsburg 3:0 (0:0)
Both could be relegated for all I care

Düsseldorf - Gladbach 3:1 (3:0)
gladbach not deserving to be in UCL next season.

Today will decide the league, the biggest game in all of football, die Super Klassizistischsten, the match to end all matches. Today we will find out if VfB or Nurnberg get the relegation playoff spot.

For the moment it is 0-0.

Later today, the team that could not beat the team that lost 5-0 Mainz yesterday will try and claw itself back from the grave vs a lucky, last minute scoring BVB team.

The reality of it is that Werder and Frankfurt should be top of the table, they are the hottest team in football. But no, Pig Farmers vs Coal Miners will decide the league today and everyone knows Coal is way more valuable then Pork. I just had some fried coal for breakfast.

For what it is worth, the El Super Klassizistischsten has Bayern winning 45 times and Dortmund 29, with 25 draws, so this will be the 100th game milestone.

Damn good game going on between Leverkusen and Leipzig. Havertz on a hat trick. He's been excellent so far.

Leverkusen should be at least 3-1 up, but Volland squandered a great chance.

I wish they were showing that game on tv instead of watching Schalke chopping and fouling Frankfurt into submission

HT scores, Nurnberg leading the relegation 6 pointer

Stuttgart - Nürnberg (Sa.) -:- (0:1)

Schalke - Frankfurt -:- (1:1)

Wolfsburg - Hannover -:- (1:1)

Hertha - Düsseldorf -:- (1:1)

Leverkusen - Leipzig -:- (2:1)
