You're replacing Ronaldo with a player who has never scored more than 20 goals in a season (if I am correct) while being his team's main player.Don't get me wrong, Hazard is great, but good luck finding a leader and a consistent goalscorer in a Hazard-Benzema-Bale forward line

It's your logic that is flawed, calling him "beta" whatever that means. But he has clearly shown he can lead and be a top performer while doing it.

No one can single-handily replace Ronaldo, it's not possible. But it's not impossible to build a different balance around different players. ill be surprised if we dont sign a number 9 but even if we assume that our attack is Hazard-Icardi-Bale, it's about as good as most teams attack. It's not even like BBC was elite for the past 3-4 years, yet we kept on piling CLs because we found different ways of winning.

If he plays like he did at the WC, it's a fantastic signing.

If not then it's meh.

Yeah Neymar is an aphla; due to the constant changes to his stupid hair, millions of instagram followers, constantly crying on the pitch, and running off to the French League the same league Hazard dominated as a teenager.

Neymar is a 40+ goals a season player, treble winner (decisive, especially in Champions Leauge) and a true winner at that. Hazard is a second tier player.

Hazard would never come close to 40 goals in a season, even with Suarez and Messi beside him. Goes missing when needed, this WC he's been good though, I admit.

If you were a manager of a team and you had to choose between Hazard and Neymar, you would choose Neymar 5/5 times.

Yeah he probably is not on the same level as Neymar. Neymar is doing GOAT statistics for Brazil. Talent is there... Mentality is not. He is top class talent and Hazard won't match that.

Does that make Hazard not WC tho? Because Hazard is world class player to me and deserves to start in Real Madrid. Like nick has said multiple times, it worked for Bayern with 2 wingers and a good striker.

Hazard - Benzema/CF - Bale is still a good frontline. It is a downgrade from CR but anything at this point is.

Bale, Benzema don’t fit with new tactics. Lopetequi will play with 2 AMs stacking the midfield. So likely Isco on for Bale and Casemiro in his normal role or they leave the DM out, Modric and Kroos, with 2 AMs and 2 forwards.

Benzema fits all tactics. Every team needs a DM
