Wow, looked at that and this was definitely historic like I thought, they basically not never exited the group stage before, except the one time in 1938 or something?
Interesting that after each time they win a WC, they dont do well the next one, and then gradually improved over a few WCs and then wins it again. Amazingly consistent trend.
Judging by that we dont have to worry about Germany in the next few WCs

Getting booted out of Russia is nothing new to us either.
Anyway, when Neuer who was injured for 1 year immediately makes the starting XI despite a world class alternative being available it sums up what went wrong.

Its time Boateng hangs up his boots for Germany too considering they have some good emerging prospects coming up in that area.

These absolute melts thought they were good enough to take a bunch of past it scrubs and perennial injured players and not a top 5 player in the best league in the world.
No excuses you *bleep* up, so glad this arrogance got it's comeuppance.
Simple question mole. As per you neither Croatia nor Belgium nor Spain nor Germany deserved to be touted. So who were your top 5 before the world cup started?

Re: Defending champions Germany eliminated from group stages
Funny how all the hysterical teenage asian girls get when Germany go out, what have Germans ever done to teenage asian girls? Wont deny there was some arrogance about this team, you got the feeling they just thought they had to show up and they would win it. That comes from the Bavarians, damn Bayern Munchen!!! I offered to put in a petition after the Austria game, to have them replaced by Austria, but like the Nicky Bendtner petition, FIFA did not respond.
Doesn't matter though, I am now Croatian and will be drinking Slivovitz morning, noon and night for the next 15 days.
