So are we going to ignore the fact that Madrid are in dire need of a trophy to not end up trophyless this season and that Liverpool have already won it 5 times and they need to step aside and let Madrid have this one?

Are Liverpool so unbelievably selfish that they would rather win it than let Madrid add another record in the history books of mankind? How self-centered do you have to be to have the shamelessness and indecency to stand in the way of progress and hope? Don't you want your children to have proof that nothing is impossible, not even winning the CL three times in a row in the modern era?

This Madrid generation is already on its last legs while Liverpool's has everything to look forward to. Who should have the priority, a bunch of old men who won't probably be in another final ever again or a Liverpool side with a fantastic coach who will dominate Europe for years to come?

If I were a Liverpool fan, I would be ashamed to even think about winning it. Step aside for god's sake, the elderly should always have the priority.

Modric, Ronaldo, Ramos, Marcelo and Benzema won't play in another final ever again, but does Liverpool care? No. They'll do everything in their power to steal the trophy from a group of powerless, declining old men on the verge of retirement and trophylessness.

Even in GL, they don't even care about putting a smile on your face, Bill. You, of all people, have suffered an unprecedented season of absolute suckage. You had to watch Benzema suck the life out of you week in, week out. You had to watch Zidane lose the league by October and cup in mid-January. You had to see him dig his nepotist claws into the fabric of Madrid. You suffered a humiliation at White Hart Lane and another one in the Bernabeu at the hands of your arch rivals. This is literally the worst season we've had in years Bill, and I think it's safe to say that only a trophy of this magnitude will brighten your day and cheer you up. But do they care? No. They just want to win the trophy and deprive a lifelong Madrid fan such as yourself of the joy of winning something under the suffocating reign of Zidane.

They should be ashamed of themselves, Bill. I wouldn't do that to you under any circumstances.

My birthday falls during the WC/EC. In 94 when I was a little kid we had my birthday in a local park. Italy was playing that day though, so my uncle brought a TV (the big boxy ones from back then), an antenna, and the longest extension cords ever to play the game in a little shed where we had the food and stuff for the adults to watch

Its pretty funny looking at a video of it that my parents took.
