Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
Inter will reportedly pounce for Gareth Bale if Real Madrid decide to part with the Welshman this summer.
According to the Independent, Madrid want to ‘reshape their attack’ and Bale is no longer considered unsellable.
Manchester United had long been backed as favourites to sign Bale, but the newspaper notes that they now have ‘close to zero interest’ in the 28-year-old due to his ‘age and cost’, plus the recent arrival of Alexis Sanchez.
Therefore, the ‘newly-wealthy’ Inter would be ‘the only club interested at the current prices’, the Nerazzurri having held an interest since his devastating performances against them for Tottenham Hotspur during the 2010-11 campaign.
However, the Beneamata are still having problems with Financial Fair Play, even after their lucrative takeover by Suning Group, which has also been hit by Chinese market restrictions.
Bale joined Madrid from Spurs in 2013 for a then-world record €100m and has gone on to score 81 goals in 182 appearances for Los Blancos, winning two Champions League and a League title.
However, his impact has been diluted by constant injuries, Marco Asensio and Isco establishing themselves and a purportedly-strained relationship with Coach Zinedine Zidane.
tl;dr
Madrid will be stuck with him till the end of his contract
Still hoping Man United move happens tho for banter reasons ofc
Bale-De Gea swap win-win for both parties IMO

Gareth Bale will stay at Real Madrid next season - because no Premier League club can afford to bring him home. (Source: Sunday Express)
Spurs will take him for 10M in a year or two or worst, will go on a 2 year loan to Milan. Book it

If they can't afford a plane ticket to bring him home I'll gladly chip in

Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
Bale will have no trouble getting interests from clubs like Chelsea or United next summer.
Bale is already on our second team lol, he has been demoted. Given how the market is it would not shock me to see him go to Chelsea this summer and Hazard make the opposite trip

Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has told Bild it is an "honour" to be linked with a move to Bayern Munich ahead of facing them in the Champions League semifinal first leg on Wednesday.
At the news conference ahead of Wednesday's game, Zidane did not mention Bale by name, although when talking of ex-Madrid star James Rodriguez, he did predict that other players might leave the Bernabeu this summer due to a lack of playing time.
However on the morning of the match Bale said that he would consider an offer to join Bayern's "fantastic squad" although "as of now" he was a Madrid player.
"You can never rule out anything in football," Bale said. "Currently, I play football at Real Madrid and I enjoy that. Bayern have a fantastic squad and already in the past they have always been one of the most successful clubs in Europe. It's an honour for everyone to be linked with this club. But as of now I am a Real Madrid player."

Maybe in one game and then there's somebody covering the steroid broken dung. 10 millions from that.

At this point in time, I can not stand here and pretend Bale would not be a huge improvement to our team.

Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Bale would do well at Bayern, if they could manage to keep him healthy, like they did with Robben who was also constantly injured for us. I think it's worth noting that Robben was our best player despite being injured all the time, though. Bale hasn't been in- form since he managed to stay fit for a prolonged period of time. Granted, he's mostly been benched.
