The overhead kick has added 200m to his original worth. So now, he's worth 200m.

Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
there is no denying his quality, he's 29, injury prone and on crazy wages + would cost 100 million
it would be an utterly stupid move to make, so I fully expect it to happen

we're signing Lord Bale who just scored a GOAT overhead CL final goal
you're signing Grifo whose claim to fame is an assist against Eintracht Frankfurt on a dreary Sunday afternoon
there are levels to this

Lol Bale will be the only decent forward in their depressing frontline, Sanchez who's phoning it in every week and Lukaku who's a donkey living off scraps

For a lil while, I honestly thought you guys were making up this Grifo player. Like, you guys chose the most Jjuve-esque names that they'll sign, combined them and made up a player.

Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
Not after this run of form. Bale hit form at just the right time. Also Mou adores him, he'll want to get him no matter what. We should milk that and try to get 150m+

you know as well as I that the market is broken, that logit doesnt apply anymore.Firenze wrote:150m for a 29 year old
I bet you accept 60-70m
150 mil is normal for a 4 times CL winner, and Mou wants to win badly. and then you will spend 50 mil on Alderweireld.
dont forget that he is a Adidas boy and will become your instant marketing imagine round the world, with that trademark bycicle kick, money money money

Market isn't broken. That's the beauty with market economics... it's all about supply and demand.

Manchester United are ready to make a £200m move for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale but the forward has concerns over Old Trafford manager Jose Mourinho's style of play. (Source: Sun Sport)

Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
We would drop him by helicopter to your training pitch for that money Firenze, and you can keep the chopper too lmao.
I feel bad for the guy though, the whole team and stadium sang "Cristiano quedate" to encourage him to stay but no one had time for Bale lol

Re: The Man United war | Featuring Gareth Bale
3 CL's in a row certainly inflates the price tag of every Madrid player , their reserve keeper included.
Wont be surprised if Kovacic were to be sold for like 80-100M or something
Teams need to stop paying ridiculous money for their fringe players and fund their mercato while keeping them financially as healthy as possible. Chelsea are already suffering with Morata. I think that should serve as a warning.

It's really disgraceful. CR7 is obviously the GOAT but his attitude is disgusting. Bale has a fantastic record for you tbh but seems mostly forgotten. That was one of the greatest goals of all time in the CL and a final period and CR7 after having that shit final just stole all the spotlight ffs. Definitely a calculated move on his part.
I don't blame Bale for wanting to leave at all. He has nothing to prove despite not being appreciated.
If we give you more than 100m we are the biggest joke in football though if he were two years younger and had a better track record in the fitness department I'd be excited AF though, best player in the world on his day.

No Nick, the chopper costs a lot of money. But I wouldn't mind including Benzema in that deal for free. I heard they're looking to add another statue to their stadium so it's a win-win.
