Thomas Tüchel's adventures in Paris
Bayern Munich is Thomas Tuchel's first choice for a return to football management and not Arsenal. (Source: SkySports)
Linked with Bayern, Arsenal, Swansea, Maccabi Haifa, Jeonbuk Motors etc
Edit : PSG seem to have won the Tuchel war

Bayern seems the best choice for everyone involved except UrbanRoots
although quietly hoping he joins Jeonbuk as I think he would get the best out of Kim Shin Wook

Fake news.
I don't even know which fake twitter accoung @S pulled that nonsense from.
The real news is that Favre will leave Nice, and I'm talking about the Favre that was Rummenigge's roomate at Geneva.

Agree completely.
Last time Bayern in their obsession with Guardiola let Heynckes go. In three years Pep was not able to create a team as good as he had inherited. After Ancelotti brought Bayern to its nadir, Heynckes ignoring that he had been slighted earlier, decided to help and the turn around was almost supernatural. The connection between Bayern and Heynckes goes beyond words. Its telepathic. The least that Bayern should do now is let Heynckes 100% decide up to when he wants to stay and worry about the next coach only after Heynckes' retirement is completely confirmed.

Re: Thomas Tüchel's adventures in Paris
Can anyone tell me how someone with zero top-flight professional playing experience, whose only accomplishment in his career so far is winning a domestic cup filled with fodder teams, gets to manage a club who has spent a billion dollars on a bunch of prima donnas and has CL aspirations?
I need his agent in my life ffs.

Re: Thomas Tüchel's adventures in Paris
He's better than that... he actually took over a Dortmund team that lost everyone... Lewa, Goetze, Hummels, Gundogan (injured), Reus (injured), etc... replaced them with kids and I mean teenagers other than Auba... and had that team play not only at the highest level but really fun as well.
But they played no defense and Tuchel is known to have a tough personality.

Perhaps coz most top level coaches might have rejected them ?
Either that or PSG management want a coach who goes 'soft' on their star players.
This is a typical PSG appointment. Flashy, fancy, flavor of the month type.

Re: Thomas Tüchel's adventures in Paris
Tuchel is anything but soft lol, shows that most people here have no idea who he really is and only look at stats.
This will either be a disaster (too many clashing personalities) or a brilliant appointment (the players and owner will put their ego aside and let the man do his job).

Thomas Tuchel will be announced as PSG's new manager, it is now a matter of when & not if, according to L'Équipe.

Is it going to be CL winning football though? Because that's the only metric for them
