It'll be Ox-Milner-Wijnaldum. Firmino would be everywhere, can't really call him a DM. He has a free role.

Ox-Goatner-Wijnaldum Midfield
Wijnaldum as a 6 or Milner-Wij double pivot
If Pep can't get a win 2+ goal wins against that Midfield. He will forever be a certified Fraud in my mind. And I will put in my application to the Anti-Pep Movement. Hopefully Kaladin/ES and company can processes the application before the start of next season.

No question Kommander would have scored a goal or two.
But does Madrid even Press?? I watched the Juve game and they didn't do much of it. Juve dominated possession and got let down by scrubs like Costa and Higuain.
Getting pressed by 99 stamina freaks like Firmino and Goats like Milner. Would rather face DMzema and Ronaldo who do zero defensive work.
this is the arrogance of premfaces, you havent done anything but you talk as if you are a big deal lol.
does madrid even press? lol, we served cans of whoopass. please quiet, sit down, take that L and go home. i promise in September next year you will have the best team in the world trophy in the media until spring 2019 when real football heritage kicks in and you ass get whooped in CL again.
real football heritage, Please stop At least refer to it as Kommander Heritage. Before him where was the heritages when Madrid was getting eliminated by French Farmers in the round of 16 year in and year out??

Well yea I wouldn't expect us to score a lot in the second leg with that midfield. I expect to lose in the second leg but idk by how much hope its less than 3.
Klopp also has the Merseyside derby to cater to, No idea what he'll play there. Might directly affect us for the second leg.
Salah should make it though inshasalah.

The application process is usually completed in 1 hour so you just need to make sure you fill out all the necessary paper work properly.

I know for you plastic fans of Emirates or Qatar clubs football started in the years 2000 but by the time you became a city fan we already had record 9 CLs I think that's about 3 times as many English titles you have.real football heritage, Please stop At least refer to it as Kommander Heritage. Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
Once again the Pep fans go missing. It's like a cult!
Klopp once again upstaging Pep. Without being able to gengen press the referees like he did at the village club, he will never win the cl.
Exposed by every great coach. Allegiri should have beaten him, Klopp has smashed him again, Ancelotti humbled him and even that fraud and traitor to the white humbled him as well.
The world is finally waking up from the spell he has on it.
We are watching you Pep.

Very good point. I feel that Pep has an obsession with experimenting, at times to the detriment of his own team.
Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
Honestly, with the strong form City displayed during the first half of the season, they were bound to run out of steam sooner or later. I haven't watched every single one of City's matches this season, but I've watched enough of them to notice that their intensity has dropped over time. They don't quite have the quality of width to sustain such intensity and morale throughout an entire season. None of the current top teams do, to be fair.

Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:I have said this in chat but i want my thoughts on the forum too.
Basically this was classic Pep trying to out smart himself again.
He's always constantly in fear of his team becoming too predictable so he makes ridiculous choices which almost always end up coming back to bite him.
It's the reason he bought Ibra, the reason he trying a 343 diamond at Barca and the reason he played Lahm in midfield.
But you will notice almost all of these things didn't actually work, so to tonight instead of going with what actually works he plays 3 CBs and drops Sterling ( a Moronic decision.)
What this meant was Liverpool could push up knowing only really Sane could punish them and they could squeeze the back 4 knowing they'd struggle to play through Liverpool and there was no outlet.
Seen people say Aguero was missing, but it's really a short sighted viewpoint. The real issue is the problematic choices which Pep which all led to playing right into Liverpool's hands.
He's still a great manager but everyone has flaws and this is his, he's an obsessive freak who quite frankly when the pressure is on overthinks things to the point of detriment to his team.
Maybe one day he'll learn that sticking to the tried and tested is sometimes better than thinking outside the box to try and counter the opposition.
Excellent post.

You need a strong team with mental characters. These teams are filled with mental midgets.
I had for years believed that history is a major factor in world cups but it seems to be in UCLs as well. Its not just about the players currently playing but the psychological impact over the years that passes on from generation to generation.
Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
The other day I was wondering what is David Silva missing, if anything, to be thought of as a legend in the game.
The answer I came up with is that he lacks the big moments, those moments that define an all time great.
One more opportunity to get that almost gone and time is going to catch up with him very fast.

DO OR DIE,
If any team can put 4+ goals against Liverpool its us. BUT I don't think we will over turn this deficit though. Would feel better if we got a away goal.
Need to go all out attack. And stick to the basic 4-3-3 with Sane-Kun-Sterling and Delph at LB

Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
ppl still have faith in Pep to turn this around City were out a week ago ffs.
There is 0 chance they keep a clean sheet, they aren't scoring 5.
Salah to absolutely destroy those scrub defenders again.
Prediction is 2-2

Well I wasn't confident with our defense in the second leg after the 0-5 away win against Porto, You can imagine how im feeling right now.
Also both teams are European Mental midgets so there's that as well.

Stahp. No GL reverse jinx or any of that nonsense. Have some confidence ffs.
City didn't even register a shot on target last game did they? You have probably the best attack in the PL, when was the last time you started Mane - DMino - Salah and failed to score a single goal? City need 5 as far as I'm concerned. If City go all out for it from the start I'm predicting a massacre for Pool. Salah can't be stopped.

Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
Nah Liverpool got this... Don't see us keeping them to just 1 goal or a clean sheet
Lineup will determine if Pep's is a fraud or not. Anything stupid like Laporte as a LB instead of Delphino or Jesus as LW instead. Thankfully Danilo is injured.
Wouldn't mind benching Sane and playing both Sterling and Bernardo tbh. Sane been scrubbing for the last 2 weeks now. Could see Silva benched and play Bernardo in the middle with Sane-Aguero-Sterling
