By that logic, no top team can ever sign a player from a smaller team

Players like Fabinho and Kovacic are a clear step better, I can easily name world class games from both. Its really simple, you show you can play games at a higher level than some then I rate you higher than those guys.

Players like Aouar, Ndombele or Sergej are for the time being the same level of talents. Actually Ndombele has already had shutout destroying PSG midfield. I watched SMS vs Juve the other day and he was terrible.

Talent is imaginary, performances are real. That's how you rate players.

I actually watch quite a bit of Lazio, very good team to watch play

Will it really matter if I say he played well against Milan? You'll say Milan isn't good, it doesn't count
If I say with Fiorentina, you'll say the same
Basically, the only answer that would appease you would be to say he dominated a match against Napoli or Juventus, and he hasn't, although when Lazio beat us 2-1 in Torino, he was quite good

In any case, your question and logic is flawed my man. You've been the only one to claim that Sergej isn't legit and literally, the only thing you've based this on is because his transfer fee will be high when he moves. It's boring and unimaginative

Now you're making up your own criteria to rank players, and that's fine too, just don't expect anyone to care. If we see bullshit, we call it what it is

Again, here is your list of why you don't rate Sergej:
-Could be expensive
-Depends what you need
-There are "better" options in terms of values and needs

And why either of us are dragging this out when its quite clear you don't watch Lazio, Sergej or Serie A is beyond me, so for those reasons, I'm out

Keep in mind I am sure Sergej is a good talent, you lots would not be this upset if he wasn't. I just guard against calling a young player the best at anything until he proves himself on the pitch.

And yes, winning vs Fiorentina and Milan is good but they are not elite teams.

The criteria of playing good against great teams is a universal one we all agree to. We are here rating how good other more confirmed players are when they play in CL.

So to summarize Sergej is a good talent, but hé is not the best CM talent in Europe because he has done nothing to validate that claim. When he does I will happily praise him. There are other young players in Europe who are showing similar quality.

And see how I respect your opinion instead of telling you have never watched Kovacic, Fabinho, Aouar, Ndombele etc... I don't need to watch a player 30 times to figure out his level.

He might be WC, but one way or the other let's wait until he has a few years of CL football under his belt for a team of real expectations

Sucking him off prematurely isn't wise, but holding his lack of top level experience against him is just as pointless. He's a guarantee to be in a CL regular club very soon, it's not his fault that he isn't already 26 and at *Insert appropriate club here*

I actually didn't comment on any of your list of players- not because I haven't seen them play but because bringing them up at all was not relevant to my point brother

Really my only point is that there's only so much he can do to validate himself at Lazio but regardless of this, he's done unreal things season and that is something to appreciate. Like Pogba, if he leaves Lazio for a Man United, City, Psg, anywhere, and doesn't do well, it won't change history. His talent is quite clear, do I think he's a 100M player? No, absolutely not. Could I see him being sold for that amount though? In today's market, why not.

where is Icardi

Icardi can't have a crazy high whoscore rating, he is completely shit outside of making CF runs and scoring. his best shot at doing that is scoring at least one in all games.

last time he score 4 goals, he had 16 touches in the game or something, in comparison their GK had like 23.

Besides, he scores his goals in bundles, so the games he is not scoring, his rating is going to be very low.  but that's how he is as a player, a poacher. If that's the type of player you want, perfect. If you want a CF who can contribute a bit more, look elsewhere

Just to be precise, Kovacic already played in Serie A. In Serie A he never was to same level such as Sergej. Incredibly inconsistent and never been difference maker as him ( by Inter fan , Kovacic's former club ). Is he relevant in Real now ? I'd not say tbh, but I haven't watched him for much time.

that being said, i am fascinated by players like Icardi though, what goes through their mind for 90 min, with so little touches, to still come up with goals. the last to do that at elite level was Falcao, we will see how Icardi turns out.

im looking forward to the next lazio game against a decent side, i will scout SMS then, as he is already linked with Madrid

As a Juve fan I can say that Dybala hasnt been the league's best player. He hasn't even been Juve's best player. Papu, Kolarov, Mertens, all players that should be lower. Alex Sandro isn't even having a good season

Anyway I can't imagine Icardi to Real Madrid not just because he has zero international palmares ( Real is so careful to "image" ) but also because he is not that type of CL appreciated  by Real , that is true
Generally I don't see who'd pay his clause but that is good for us
