UEFA Champions League 2017/2018 Group Stage Draw

When and where is the draw?

The draw begins at 18:00CET on Thursday 24 August. It will take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco and will be streamed live on UEFA.com.

I tried to write the teams already seeded. If I made mistakes, help me correct them!

Pot 1: Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Benfica, Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Monaco, Spartak Moscow

Pot 2: Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, Manchester City, Porto, Manchester United

Pot 3: Napoli, Tottenham, FC Basel, Roma, Besiktas, Olympiakos, Anderlecht

Pot 4: Celtic, Maribor, Leipzig, Feyenoord

Real Madrid, PSG, Napoli, Celtic would be nice

or Monaco, Manchester City, Napoli, Celtic

Juve, United, Anderlecht, Feyenoord

Tbh, that's exactly what I'd like and what I was thinking about, but with Steaua, not Feyenoord. Steaua has to beat Sporting tonight!

Yeah, honestly no team from the 4th pot interest me. I picked Celtic only because it sounds nice.

If Steaua qualifies, they will be a team of interest for me of course & they will be in the 4th pot.

That pot 2 almost looks better or at least as good as pot 1 ffs, going to be some huge match ups in some groups, and probably some 'group of death'.

A possible draw is: Spartak, Porto, Basel, Maribor

I got this feeling Juve will face QSG

With Pots 2 and 3 looking strong, there could be some really interesting groups this year. Quite hard to pick a group of death.

I would really like to see a group with very offensive teams like Monaco, City, Napoli & maybe Sporting.

A lot of super hard groups possible. A group of death could be:

Madrid, PSG, Napoli, CSKA

then you could have

Juve, Ateltico, Tottenham, Celtic
Bayern, Barca, Roma, Sporting
etc.

cool pots, a good group stage seems likely.

I do hope Madrid get either Tottenham or Liverpool. Would be a lovely spectacle.

That would be spectacular indeed. But considering how poor is Liverpool defending, Real Madrid would establish new records. So, I'd choose Tottenham in a group with Real Madrid and PSG. That's because, like I've said already, I really want Napoli with Monaco and City.

So.

Real Madrid, PSG, Tottenham, CSK Moscow & Monaco, City, Napoli, Sporting CP.

& final prediction for my fav team:
Juventus, Man United, Anderlecht & Celtic.

Not often you see three teams from Portugal.

Want either Juve or Bayern to be in our group. Tested against the best team in the world in the Super Cup and kinda got a hint of where we stand in terms of quality. So, now need to face one of the 2nd best teams. This year, CL for United is basically a step, nothing more. Hope Mou will have them play fearless rather than PTB after scoring a goal.
