The draw is on Thurday, 25th August at 17:45 CET. There aren't any changes to the procedure this year, so it's your standard eight groups of four with teams being sorted into four pots. I'm unsure of the seedings at the point, though I imagine you can probably guess who would be in which pot.

I don't know what the current co-efficients are, but Madrid's run to the semi-final last year might have bumped their score up enough for them to be in Pot 1. Otherwise, they'll be in Pot 2 like they have been in the last couple of seasons.

If they are in Pot 1, then Madrid/Milan and Madrid/Arsenal won't be possible. Thankfully.

We've put Lyon behind us, there's nothing more to prove. If UEFA can do one thing for us, it's to give us a little more variety this campaign.

I wanna see Dortmund in a group with a big gun like United, Barca, Real, etc. I really think they can compete with any team in the world and I think theyll prove it in the CL this year. Theyre so underrated.

So a Barca/madrid - Milan - Dortmund - City is possible. MAKE IT HAPPEN UEFA for barca, it will bring in mon-$$$-ey.

It will make the CL group stage exciting lol.

^ If that happens then the chance of Barca meeting Stoke will not be impossible!

That would be awesome, butat the same time suck cuz thtwo of tjose teams would be way earlier than they normally would.

As long as we don't get Genk I'm happy, Genk are not happy with us after we got Courtois and I still want De Bruyne from them.

Come to think of it, Madrid have not faced a top European team except Barcelona for a while, it'll be pretty exciting if they clashed with Chelsea, Inter, Bayern, etc.

Teams like Lyon, Tottenham, Milan, aren't cutting it in terms of excitement.
