Barca fans are usually the ones hating their board and calling them corrupt the most lol so this is kind of a moot point. Not to mention I'm sure Real does have their share of shady dealings, it's just that unlike Barca they're not hilariously incompetent so they don't get caught.

we don’t hire a PR firm to discredit our players and to create a smear campaign against them, including the greatest player in club history. What a joke of a club. Barca are in a class of their own, I guess two presidents in a row means that it’s in the DNACruijf wrote:farfan wrote:So that would mean two consecutive Barça presidents ended up behind bars? All the times I mentioned money being passed around in brown envelopes in car parks in exchange for favourable results, I was being tongue in cheek. Who would've HAKSHUALLY thunk it was more grounded in reality than anyone could've known

Shit, I'd better watch my words carefully. Who knows how far Don Bart's reach extends, even in Sing Sing.

I mean, Bart was Rossell's #2, it'd be hard to imagine they were not both corrupt togethertitosantill wrote:farfan wrote:So that would mean two consecutive Barça presidents ended up behind bars? it looks like this has very little to do with results and more with the campaign to sla ser current players and ex legends. If anything it has hurt our performance.Lex wrote:Jesus fkin Christ

Listen, I'm not going to defend Perez because I know most club presidents, if not all, have done their fair share of shady dealings, but the video you posted doesn't prove anything. And just FYI, I wouldn't choose Calderon as the base of my arguments because he's a serial liar and one of the worst Madrid presidents in history.
I have many, many things against Perez, especially in recent years, but I would still choose him over Calderon any day. That man was a horrible, horrible president and I hope he never comes back.

Re: Vives (Barca spokesperson): "Those demanding Bartomeu to resign on twitter are not from Catalonia, but from other countries."
Geez... I knew many sports related clubs/entities are corrupted and run by dirty/corrupt businessmen etc., its such a common thing in China lol... but Im sure its similar in many parts of the world. What I thought was such huge clubs like Barca and Real would be a bit better since its more in the western world and under so much attention and scrutiny all the time, but I guess not
Anyway, justice hopefully will be served, Barto can rot in jail. If it were up to me I would give him the death sentence lol, since he ruin the club and Messi which so many worldwide loves...

I don't have evidence but one look at Perez is enough to know 90% of these allegations is true, lets be honest. Madrid fans are definitely in no position to make fun of anything and anwyay its like blaming the people for the sins of the government which is wrong
Didn't Ramon Calderon provide documents proving he secured the CR7 transfer and Perez actually tried to break the deal?
Seems like RM was successful in the last decade rather in spite of Perez not thanks to him. Now he will buy Pogba and call Mourinho next morning following sack from spuds

Thank god that's not how the legal system works Also what's being alleged here? that Perez tried to block/sabotage a transfer? That sounds more like a bad sporting decision than an actual crime. The two Barça presidents were actually charged with serious crimes. We're talking tax fraud, money laundering, mismanagement of funds, etc...
Madrid fans are definitely in a position to make fun of you. You always place their club at the center of these byzantine conspiracies that involve everything from having corrupted judges in their pockets to placing insiders in referees committees.

Re: Vives (Barca spokesperson): "Those demanding Bartomeu to resign on twitter are not from Catalonia, but from other countries."
The allegations against Perez is that he also funded a campaign to discredit Ramon Calderon and harassed his family.
And Calderon himself was accused of rigging elections, also mismanagement of funds and other legal charges.
So also 2 questionable presidents in a row...

I'm not really sure where people are coming from, here. Barca fans surely hate Roselle/Bart more than anyone else.
I guess it's like Trump. Sure, I'm embarrassed he became president, but I hated him more than anyone else, and making fun of Trump from others feels flat because I feel the same way.
It's not like Barca supporters have any say in who the president is, even

where people are coming from is; for centuries their fan base has labelled other clubs and presidents' corrupt , but the guys they label as such dont have presidents getting locked up in quick succession for different things. so until then, they should stick to labelling their club and its cohorts as corrupt (nobody said bart was corrupt when they won the treble).....leave florentino madrid and the "corrupt" argentine fa outta this. two presidents getting locked up is a blemish on the club.

Re: Vives (Barca spokesperson): "Those demanding Bartomeu to resign on twitter are not from Catalonia, but from other countries."
Bartomeu was only elected because Barca won the treble that season and elections were held in July, one month right after our CL win. So he just got lucky by coincidence. But otherwise he was VP to Rosell earlier and he remained Rosell's puppet essentially. So I wouldn't even count that as 2 consequent presidents since Barto was an extension of Rosell and boomer socis voted for him because he got lucky with Neymar and the treble in 2015

Be greedy for all I care but at least care about the sporting project. Bartomeu didnt have a clue about football. I wouldnt let him run a gas station let alone the biggest club in the known universe. Laporta can take some into his pocket if he pushes the club in the correct direction. He will have deserved it.

Not really. Xavi is hesitant as he thinks it may be too soon to take over as big a job as Barca and Koeman's position obviously depends on results and performances.
Koeman is doing fine and doesnt deserve a sack. Xavi needs a revamp and fresh start, which could be challenging due to lack of money and all that
