Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
At his best, he is more than capable of earning that playing time. There was a game against Milan at the Emirates which springs to my mind where he was magnificent. And funnily, he only played in the middle in that game because just about every other option for that role was injured.
What he needs is for Klopp to mark him down for one set position and groom him into that. Not play him in a different position in each game.

Chelsea and Arsenal offered him 190/180K p/w?
He's on 125K p/w at Pool? suddenly Lingard earning 100K a week is easier to stomach
MADNESS

We need to just accept that whilst most of the rest of the economy is down in the shitter, Sports in general just keep on bringing in the mega money, people on £300 a Week will pump 1/4 of that into sports packages and tickets and the TV package prices keep rising
So these relative nobodies will get the sort of money that would make a WC player blush 10 years ago.

Imagine cribbing about 125k per week in 2017 when a dude just went across a country for £250m last week.

Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
I don't think JJube fans realise what a big coup Höwedes is. For years and I mean a LONG time he is probably been the most underrated German international if not CB amongst the others. Höwedes was seldom mentioned since he played for Schalke which is a joke of a team in their management and merry-go-round results along with despite being technically proficient and an underrated passer; not as exciting to watch as Hummels, Boateng and company. Call me out here but aside from Boateng he has been the second best German CB and yes over Hummels. Over Boateng no as we can mention his mistakes, to which have been magnified given the platform he is on yet make no mistake Höwedes is a pillar of consistency. What separates him from many is his use of his body and his presence along with his famous leadership. Unreal how no one picked him up before though we was loyal to Schalke.
Expect an improvement in backline. BHC....uh yea.

Arsenal have no plans to replace AOC & no money for major signings, but only way Sanchez leaves is if #AFC get massive money & replacement

2 of last summers big transfers are now playing for PL jobbers Krychowiak and Sanches
Pool still chasing Lemar after signing OX..meanwhile at The Emirates..

Arsenal did their yearly summer brief about "£200m warchest" + in profit for the window. Now "no money" for signings. Taking fans for mugs.

Arsenal When you think they hit rock bottom , they keep sinking. Old version Wenger would have got Lemar before anyone else for cheap, bargain players like Matuidi ...

Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
We screwed ourselves by stockpiling players and keeping them on big wages. PL rules limit how much we can increase our wage budget on a yearly basis.
United, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc. don't have the same problem due to bigger commercial deals and CL money.
This why Arsenal do not have funds for huge singing. Would breach Premier League short term cost control measures. #AFC pic.twitter.com/BDP0N94q0T

Deadline day should be fun IMO but I won't be surprised if our work is done.
Maybe we are waiting to sell Coutinho so that prices don't go up.

Can't even hate on the Evans move. He would be their second best CB IMO, he's not too bad on the ball either.
If they get Sanchez, title favorites and I'd expect semi-finals min in CL.
Unreal lineup then.

Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
Talks are in session between Liverpool and Roma for Emerson Palmieri. The left-back likes Liverpool and the Reds would like to lock him down and leave the player (who is recovering from a knee injury) with Roma before eventually bringing him to the Premier League. @DiMarzio
know nothing about him but can say he's an improvement on Moreno

You're right, but let's not forget that Evans always let's you down exactly when you think nothing bad can happen anymore. He tricks everybody into thinking he is a beast CB then he just makes a move and he comes back at being mediocre.
And yeah, forum is pretty dead. Even the "Hub" section. For example, last summer, "the movies thread" was so active that I could get a reply in minutes almost anytime. But these days it's different. Yesterday I asked for a recommendation and didn't get a response in 24 hours.

Would be a top move for Liverpool. After an adapting period, it looked like Roma had struck gold with Emerson. Then like all of their fullbacks, he got injured for half a season.
