It won't happen though. There is a bit more to this summer yet and I think Spurs will buy two or three players, leaving it late on however. But United aren't going to sell Martial to Spurs, no way. Especially a talented kid like Martial. This is an Arsenal like way of Tottenham showing their trying to get top tier players when really they want that Sanchez guy from Ajax and Keita Balde, both players you would have to Google tbh

Keita not called up for the supercup today. At the same time media says that Schick to Inter is happening. Probably Keita will move to Juve next week.

I don't rate him as high as others but he's literally the only creative player they have.

I don't particularly like Hazard but he would be insane with Barca. Would prefer him to Coutinho and wouldn't mind the transfer.

You know, I have to admit that I have been really impressed with PSG lately. They are making a name for themselves and truly pushing the boundaries to be mentioned in the same breath as Europe's elite clubs.

They went to Barcelona and took their second best player, then turned their sights to Mbappé who's the most sought-after teenager in Europe right now and are negotiating with Monaco for his signature. And if the recent rumors are true, they're also looking to sign Sanchez from Arsenal.

As opposed to City, they're not signing scrubs. They're looking for potential Ballon d'Or winners and wouldn't mind spending half a billion to secure them.

I have nothing but respect for ruthless clubs who don't settle for mediocrity and always want to achieve perfection.

If they sign their remaining targets, PSG will inevitably become a CL contender.

If they get Sanchez and Mbappe they will have eclipsed elite and become stratospheric like the most ultimate club on the planet.

Instant Champions league favourites until the 2022 world cup at least with a whole host of brand new club ambassadors bought with their petty cash like dare i say it Varane. How could French players resist playing for the biggest club in the world.

That's quite a ridiculous bid. He is a World Class player but 80M for a leftback will always feel odd, no matter which way you spin it. Any other summer he would probably already be a Chelsea player.

I'd honestly rather see us spend 40-50m on Rose, and the rest of that 80m on Oxlade-Chamberlain.

I'm not so sure, we didn't really have to sell in any case. But losing both Bonucci and Alex Sandro in one window is too much change in our back line.

I think the real nail in the coffin for Chelsea's pursuit is that Sandro wants to stay at Juve because lord knows if he so much as whispered to Marotta, he would already be in London and for less than 80

Juve didn't have to sell, but if you still had Bonucci, I think an 80m Euro bid would be accepted.

Perhaps, with Bonucci in the back line and Spinazzola poised to return (whom is quite highly rated), then it would be more sensible.

I agree, I know Chelsea signed Rudiger, who I think will do well under Conte, Bakayoko, and Morata but it was at the expense of Costa (seemingly) and Matic. Its the type of window that surprises me with Conte at the helm, fresh of winning the Premier League and back into the CL. It's this kind of market that saw Conte quit Juventus basically.

It can still be saved, and I think Chelsea will ensure it does.

We cannot afford to lose Conte.
