Re: Stranger Things || Netflix
Honestly whoever doesnt rate this series and plays it off as just a 'fanfare genre gimmick' is an idiot
It's brilliant. S3 is definitely on par with S1 or even better.

Killing off a character and showing them again in a trailer for the first time.
It's so normal these days. Doesn't get less annoying though.

Everyone knew he was alive. Which makes the ending to season 3 a mockery.
Let's see how they rehash the same storylines again.

Yeah everyone knew, but they could at least commit to the dumb bit.

Yea the real shock would have been him actually being dead dead.
But i suppose its a huge character.

Re: Stranger Things || Netflix
It improved a lot after episode 4 but man it's so so bloated. You could tell some of the character arcs were only there so they could keep the actors happy.
Hopefully volume 2 is faster paced

Re: Stranger Things || Netflix
Part 2 is going to be 2 very long episodes so that points to perhaps more bloat.
Personally, I didn't see too many issues with Part 1 myself. Lots of filler, but unlike typical filler, this stuff was at least somewhat engaging.

Must say that while I like the kids, I found seasons 2 and 3 politically questionable to the point of hating it
Not sure I'll waste any more time on it

Re: Stranger Things || Netflix
The Cold War stuff would be my guess. It's the only blatantly political aspect of the show.

Every season has been worse than the last, to the point I'm pretty ambivalent on watching this one
