Yeah Arda was the brightest thing this game together with Vini. If he'd just held his run for a fraction of a second he'd have scored a superb goal. Can't wait to see him with the first team.

Brahim on the other hand has flattered to deceive so far. Ceballos as frustrating as ever, Endrick letting nerves get to him so the attack has looked so and so.

If there is anyone in our squad that is ready for the start of the season it is Arda although he's only been training for a few days.

Hope Carlo stays true to his words and actually gives him proper minutes and not scrap minutes.

Modric has signed a contract to 2025. The understanding is that it will be his last season for RM. Even this contract was only signed after the club dragged their heels and Modric begging and offering to reduce his wages. I am glad he stays, we can't lose that many experienced guys at once.

Modric understands that he won't be a starter but he'll be needed to come in when we need an experienced midfielder to calm the game down but I suspect Arda will be the first sub when we need creativity and Modric when we play terrible.

Hes not wrong but tbh I expected more class from him but it's been several times now that he badmouthed teammates over the past season. Why doesnt he say it directly in the dressing room instead of going to the press or rival players

I dont remember there being many turnovers towards the end of the game anyway, but its true that we tend to squander a lead due to stupid mistakes. The corner that we failed to defend completely was a glaring example of that

I've heard a deal is close to play some of the La Liga fixtures in the US. This is going to be a disaster

That's the worst decision they could make. The pitches are terrible, the security a calamity and mother nature doesn't want football to be played there

We don't create a lot of chances, experts around the internet told me we don't need Olmo. I think we lack a creative AM as much as we lack a DM and LW.

Its good to get a reality check once in a while, 0-3 is embarrassing even in a meaningless friendly. The league game will be the real test tho as to how we are prepared for the season
