If you boys want a stream for the fight, I can PM it to you. A buddy of mine just sent me an unlisted youtube link that works great.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Not surprised Fury won given he was far more serious this fight than the last. But to win in this fashion I do not think anyone predicted it would happen.
Yes Fury did not knock him out in "Round 2" but we all know that was a bluff. So one-sided was the match I sincerely hope Wilder does not use the stoppage by his own corner as an excuse and a rematch is not even in question to happen nor should it. The strategy was more or less the same as Fight 1 with his feints and jabs the most important of the arsenal but this fight he was far more aggressive, used more overhands and kept distance before combos when he knew Wilder was going for his launch 1-2 punch. And none of them affected Fury given he saw them and countered them well.
Wilder I grew to like more than ever in between Fight 1 and 2 as he is amongst the most charismatic personalities out there and just downright hilarious at times. And the warrior mentality at display to keep going whilst his fucking eardrum was ruptured was unbelievable. And no doubt he would have continued to the last round standing if not stopped (rightfully). But Wilder will no doubt come back from this fight stronger and likely knock his next opponents out as he usually does.
Anyone who says he is 'exposed' does not know Wilder isn't a bundle of skills as it is but an eraser but Fury's gameplay to keep him on the backfoot worked brilliantly and no one will be speaking of his old trainer Ben D anymore.
The extra weight had no noticeable drop in his speed & mobility and worked to his favour and this proves Fury is not only the best HW but by a mile. Truly will go down amongst the best and just cannot wait till he fights AJ if not hopefully Usyk.
Happy with the UK crowd making the atmosphere better than what it is given American crowds suck in general and Fury to do his usual ridiculous karaoke after sums him up.
To go down from what Fury went through in his sudden fall with drug abuse, mental illness and crash and to be now at the top of the boxing world is as inspirational as any story in the sporting world.
Only 31 so has some years to go.
Great display and win for boxing overall tonight.

Fury-Joshua needs to happen by the end of the year at least.
And it should be in UK (London or Manchester) and not Vegas and the UK does deserve that even if it is unlikely.

Its GOOD to have a heavyweight division again. My uncle bought the match. Gonna head over to his place and watch it. Cant believe he put money on Fury. Going to rub it in his face when his girlfriend's kid doesnt have lunch money next week![]()

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Just watched the fight, what a meek performance by Wilder. I get that he never really recovered from the 3rd round knockdown, but he landed like zero good punches. Some people were saying (not here) that Wilder's corner threw in the towel too soon, but he wasn't ever trying to throw punches in the 7th.
Credit to Fury, he's got that Klitshko thing going for him where he's able to use his reach and mobility to control fights. Hopefully his bout with Joshua will be more competitive, tho.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Hopefully he doesn't trigger the rematch clause. No one wants to see a 3rd match. But Wilder probably will for that 40%

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Wilder had probably the best walk out since Tyson vs Botha in 99.
Shame his run is over. We dont have too many champs from our part of the country these days.

One trick pony but he is pretty damn good at that. Entire fight he had his right hook ready but imagine trying to knock out a 6'9 monster who eats 5 14inch pizzas for snack

Wilder was basically the Tony Tucker of today, undefeated belt holder ducking the top talent, before Tyson's ran them over.
