Mainz defender Abdou Diallo is on Arsenal’s short-list

RMC report that Premier League side Arsenal have placed FC Mainz central defender Abdou Diallo on their summer shortlist.

Arsène Wenger’s side’s new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat has made an enquiry with the Bundesliga club for the former AS Monaco man. Mainz have no intention of selling Diallo next month, but it appears that the Gunners are lining him up as a squad replacement for Per Mertesacker at the end of the current campaign.
