I'd think it's Saric, 3rd, Lakers' 1st next year. Maybe 1 other player or a bad contract.

It says a package centered around it. You can damn well bet it's atleast The Lakers' pick next year and Saric (he's not needed because of Simmons).

They might give 2 firsts in total to trade up. It'll be a lot of picks.

Awful deal imo. What is Ainge thinking. Must really like Jackson.

We'll see how bad it is in time. Giannis is also an extremely athletic player with a broken jumper (coming in, better now but still not anything too great) who excelled at defense and getting to the rim.

I don't see Josh Jackson having anywhere near Giannis's talent but the point is... we'll see who flops and who becomes a star in time. Bit early now to judge who is getting the better deal.

Although I will admit I am perplexed and I certainly wouldn't make this trade if I'm the Celtics. I feel like Fultz is probably gonna be a fantastic pick who Celtics could have used to prepare for life after IT.

Josh Jackson has a tiny wingspan compared to his height for an NBA player though. Hard to compare him to Giannis in that regard.

6'9 wingspan isn't amazing for a SF. He can jump, which is his only elite trait. I wouldn't draft anyone because of that.

I just don't see they'd trade this pick. No guarantee they'll get anything close to no 1 from The Lakers and Kings picks.

I think it's an idiotic trade from the Celtics, and I couldn't be happier. Hopefully Embiid can stay healthy.

Just happy I don't have to root against Fultz and can focus against Jackson.

He's basically gambling on Jackson becoming a legit star really, we'll see if it pays off or not.

If nothing else Philly should be great to watch next year.

I don't know if I buy Saric as a huge talent. The other 3 though. Hopefully Embiid can stay healthy.

Embiid, DLo and Embiid all went to high school together Embiid wasn't able to get play time and left though.

Some of these HS programs have ridiculous talent.

Just meant in terms of entertainment value.

He can shoot, dribble, pass and rebound so he lends to the entertainment value.

I don't think he'll start though, will probably come off the bench as long as Simmons plays.

Yeah he'll be a sixth man.

They need to sign two shooters. Maybe Reddick, Ingles, Korver or someone. Simmons need two knockdown shooter playing with him.

They have refused to sign any players for 4 years though. Only team that didn't even try

Yeah Philly surprisingly look like they might actually have a bright future. Lot depends on players staying healthy though.

Shame since they'll still be looking at a four seed at best. East is gonna be a Cavs/Boston/Bucks trifecta for the next couple years. Bucks probably looking at a #1 seed the next couple years I reckon.
