Well, not surprising really. It's not an area the club has to strengthen as I more see it as a cosmetic signing than anything. Still, you never know with this club when it comes to signings. We could very well make a bid, a crazy one too.

if you look closer at that it stats Liverpool wont pay £35mil for salah but are now looking at martins who has a buyout of £46mil and was not even close to salah in goals and assists this season so it don't take much working out that its fake news.

Sky Italia reports Liverpool made a €20m [£17.3m] bid for Stefan de Vrij, but it was rejected by Lazio.

The centre-back is out of contract next summer, and his apparent reluctance to sign a new contract has fuelled speculation that he’ll leave this summer.

I found out the other day that according to the only journo I trust that he was 2nd choice to our actual target who is a CB from Eibar lol..
