It sucks how much Atalanta will get raided. They'll get smashed next season in EL after playing so well this year.

In general, Atalanta are very good for being a provincial team. The best of them probably. Playing in Bergamo is usually the hardest of all the stadiums to go to in the provinces. Its just that the gap between these teams and the big ones is too large.

If things stay as they are, this will be the first time in history that Atalanta finish as the best team in Lombardy (Milan and Inter have always reigned).

Milan can easily end up finishing 8th this season. Unreal. What's the lowest they've ever finished?

They finished in 14th place in 1981-82 and were relegated to Serie B for the second time in 3 years.

Andrea Conti is a stud. We need to sign him in the summer. I like him more than De Sciglio. We could just let Atalanta keep Spinazzola who we own and throw a few million their way. Conti is going to be a stud. Starting RB for La Nazionale for years to come.

Do you know what ?
It' s what most number of Inter fans, included me, wish me.
For me the 6th place is the worst possible scenario ,I said it recently too.
I'm really  scared about the idea to  play EL next year beginning with a EL play off in June.
It'd be the certainty of another crap season.
It's better to play no cups next year, considering also the fact that 4 places will give the CL qualification next year.
It's really a paradoxical situation , why basically I 'm hoping for Milan victories  these matchdays and no Inter victories in last 3 .
Very glad for Delofeu goal , why even if we win against Sassuolo  ( and unfortunately, it's possible ) we won't 6th.

Anyway it's not really a weird thing , it's the tanking.
We're the Lakers.
Yeah, It's even difficult to rate Inter after the derby.
Genoa - Inter wasn't a normal match , we did everything to lose it. We tanked exactly.
I can't wait to sign Berardi on next draft.

Yes, Inter have to avoid EL at all cost, especially the 3rd qualifying round.

They are back in Serie A after decades with a great story behind this promotion.

After bankrupcy and rebirth, they were in Serie D in 2012-13

2012-13: Serie D
2013-14: Lega Pro 2nd division
2014-15: Lega Pro
2015-16: Lega Pro
2016-17: Serie B
2017-18: Serie A

They will be playing in Serie A next year, after being in the 5th division just 5 seasons ago.

Inter vs Sassuolo

Sass is finishing the season like they started - with everyone injured. Pellegrini, Mazzitelli, Ricci and Duncan are out.

Inter (4-3-3): Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, Murillo, Andreolli, Nagatomo; Brozovic, Gagliardini, Joao Mario; Candreva, Icardi, Perisic

Sassuolo (4-3-3): Consigli; Lirola, Letschert, Acerbi, Peluso; Sensi, Missiroli, Biondini; Berardi, Iemmello, Politano

Toxic atmosphere at San Siro. A lot of fans walked out due to protest.

Very uneventful match so far.
