Ronaldo has now led 2 different teams to back to back CL finals. Incredible. Even Messi has never done that with Barca.

Imagine if Ronaldo had this amount of game intelligence 4-5 years ago.

Very good point. He seems to be a lot smarter with his play these days even though he's not scoring as much. He has always worked hard on improving different aspects of his game after criticism. I remember when the flaw for Ronaldo in the Messi v Ronaldo arguments was that Ronaldo always went missing against the top teams. I think he smashed that argument in 2013.

I remember when Barca fans on here kept bashing him for dribbling and showboating too much

If you listen closely, you can literally hear Hans' frustration at seeing Casemiro and Madrid win again.

Thank god the game wasn't solely decided by that first goal.
We'd never hear the end of it about how blatant that " offside " was.

Simeone 8/4/17: I am more proud about beating Barca than RM (sic)
Ha how does it feel to be eliminated from every Cup competition you meet RM in you little Barca apologist

Did Madrid score another offside goal?

Unfortunately Atleti is the kind of team that will wear you down over long stretches of time, but if you score against them early they lose a bit of the fight as their strategy is less useful. Doesn't help that this is the weakest Atleti in 4 years.BarrileteCosmico wrote:Tie over. Open the floodgates.

Debatable.
Ronaldo was offside when the first cross was cleared by a Pathetico defender, but he wasn't when he headed the second cross in.
You can easily argue that he interfered with play.

Re: UCL SF: Real Madrid CF v Club Atlético de Madrid
Good thing they're scoring early, because RM are looking like the inferior team right now and I don't expect that to change unless it's looking like they're about to lose.

We really should've had a fit Pepe for this match. He would've thrived with this kind of officiating.

Re: UCL SF: Real Madrid CF v Club Atlético de Madrid
nobody wants to see Atleti - Juve in the final (I do, worth watching a horrible final to see Madrid fans cry)
Madrid will score tonight for sure, but at least it's interesting now.

All RM need is one goal and it's GG. No way Atleti put 5 past them and RM are a team that can score a goal out of nowhere.
