Re: UCL Semifinal Draw
Does anyone fancy Monaco to beat any of the other 3?
I'm not sure that I see it happening.

Re: UCL Semifinal Draw
Monaco have very little experience. They'll probably exert all their energy in the 1st halves and then come out in the 2nd so disorganised you will question the quality of teams they met along the way. I only watched their game against City and thought man this team is atrocious at the back. Maybe adrenaline can get them through but I believe their inexperience will see them hit a road block here no matter who they play

Re: UCL Semifinal Draw
The regular back 4 is Sidibe-Glik-Jemerson-Mendy. Glik is their best defender. He missed both games against City. They only gave up 1 goal against City at home and Dortmund at home.
Their away strategy is to score as many goals as they possibly can while risking defensive solidity. It's just how they approach those games. That's why they scored 3 at City and 3 at Dortmund.
In fact, they are after scoring goals primarily. IF they wanted to, they could be good defensively since Sidibe, Mendy and Glik are all very good defenders. But Jardim understands the has an incredible array of attacking talent available this season... once in a lifetime opportunity. Think about it... Moutinho and Germain only get to play if one of the regulars are out.
They can beat anyone as long as the defense and midfield are healthy imo. They have depth on the attack so they can afford some people missing there.

Na Atleti are really really organised. They seem to have found the right partner to Gabi now too with Gimenez stepping into that role. That leaves Koke and Saul playing on the wings where they are best utilised. I rate whoever puts 2 goals past that defence. Like I said in a 2 legged affair Atleti go throufh against us and Monaco 8/10. Only Juve can stop them and only Atleti can stop Juve. It's a toss up between those 2. I ain't even gonna lie I'll be praying we get Monaco

Monaco were the favorites to win since the beginning. What are you talking about.
On a more serious note, I can see Monaco beating RM or AM but defo not Juve. Falcao or MBappe can catch Ramos or Gimenez off but I doubt either of them will get through BBB&C.

It is clearly the Juve's year. But clearly.

Re: UCL Semifinal Draw
my prediction/wish
Juve vs Monaco
Real vs Atletico
Juventus are #1 contenders but both Madrid teams are not far behind, i rate them higher than Barcelona. The journey ends here for Monaco no matter who they play against.
Let's face it, everybody wants a Juve vs Real final. Ronaldo & Ramos are too clutch, not facing them 2 times in a row would be appreciated. And whilst i'm not particularly afraid of Atletico, i'd prefer that we avoid them because the games would be boring.

Why is Juventus being put as #1 by people. World class and complete as they are Real Madrid is the best team in the world at the moment.

Rinc fra unless you propose there is no best team in the world, then who would you place above them?

This. Don't let the constant moaning of Madrid fans fool you, Madrid indeed are the best team in the world right now. They have more quality on bench the than most big clubs have in starting lineup. Also results wise however bad they play they have a pretty good record this season. High chances are that they might end up breaking the CL curse this year.

Re: UCL Semifinal Draw
People underestimating the CL curse...
In all seriousness, yes, I say Juve. We can obviously lose and all the teams now can win, but I would put our chances higher. IF we lose the semifinal it will be against Atletico, not against Madrid. I agree with hala.
They would score, we would score, we would make it through.

Re: UCL Semifinal Draw
Zidane and Ramos meme magic is too strong. The amount of hate Zidane has gotten will make Real win.
Real - Monaco
Juve - Atletico
That will be draws.
Atletico - Real final
Real win in extra time from Ramos header after Atletico scored on a penalty comitted by Ramos.
