Porto vs United pls

United will be knocked out regardless of the draw.

We had spurs last year and atletico a couple of times recently. Any team but those, preferably Ajax.

If we beat Juve, we can certainly beat half of those teams.

Liverpool by far the most difficult group runner-up. Followed by Spurs.

Similarly, Porto are the easiest group winner. In fact half of those runner up teams would eat them for breakfast.

If you get as lucky as in Juventus Stadium, then yes.

The truth is it is highly unlikely that United will be that lucky again.

If I had a choice, I'd wish we draw Man United again and bury them and their fickle fans 20 feet under. That result in Turin was one of our more embarrassing losses in recent history. No excuse to losing to a hot trash team like that.

But since we don't have that choice, anyone other than Atletico would be fine with me.

This is the first time in almost a decade that I feel Madrid aren't worthy of being in the quarter-finals. I feel we have regressed so much in quality that we are now very reminiscent of the Madrid side that used to crash out in the round of 16 against the likes of Lyon.

For the past 9 seasons, we have been managing to reach, at least, the semi-final of this competition. I'm really proud of that achievement, and it kills me to see it drawing to an end. An end that could've been easily avoided had our dearly beloved president planned ahead and refused to stand for mediocrity.

I feel Liverpool, City and Juventus are the favorites, but I won't rule out Barcelona either as long as they have Messi.

Teams like Bayern and United are just like Madrid: they have no business being anywhere close to the semis or even the quarters.

Something tells me we'll get Man City, but honestly I don't care who get, as long as we don't get embarrassed.

I think Liverpool vs BVB deserves to happen a bit later in the competition. It will be hell of a game to watch for anyone.

^Absolutely. I don't understand this "negativity" either. I mean, it's not like winning is predicated on the quality of the squad you have. We are Real Madrid for god's sake! We could field a starting eleven of 11-year olds and we would still win.

Heck, I'm pretty sure we could keep on selling our best players and only signings nobodies and we would still win. Why? Because we are Real freaking Madrid. We win through the experience and talent of players we no longer have ffs.
