Stuck at level 20 ffs

Been avoiding crucible since i think i am going to flop there but i assume i need to play it for more light?

You'll probably just running out of things to do without the any of the DLCs lol.

Are you keeping up with your weekly and dailies for better gear?

I can't do nightfall since i need more light for it. Can't do heroic either.

Battering strikes but no better gear is coming.

No one wants to control. It was the same issue in D1.

I was elite in crucible in D1 man. Gonna get DLC to get to level 50 for that again

Also regarding Control, it's literally just a going in a circle, but no one seems to want to DEFEND their zones.

I usually go into defensive mode when we have 2 zones and then revert to alphabetical order when we need to take a zone.

It's maddening to see people with 3 dozen kills, but only like 1 or 2 captures. Wanna just kill people? Go play Rumble.

This is what happens in Control

3 players get the nearest flag. 3 goes to the B one where they face 3 others from the opposite team. Whoever gets the B flag then goes for the C one while completely forgetting flag A. Then it goes around in circle.

Yup, and similar to D1 if you lose out on that initial battle for B, you can find yourself in a hole very quickly. Not unrecoverable with a decent team, but can be hard to climb out of it with a bad one.

Just got bodied in Gambit against a team full of Sleepers. Update appears to have nerfed it a bit though. No worries, i'm sure Queenbreaker will come to the fore now.

Liking the revamped Festival of the Lost event.

The Haunted Forest is quite a bit of fun. I really want them to do more with the Infinite Forest after this event ends. It's wasted space, especially when Mercury is the Flashpoint destination.

Is buying the Forsaken expansion worth it? I bought the previous ones and splashing 39.99€ on a game doesn't feel worth it anymore... Also that Warmind expansion was a joke, it was like 3 story missions and then it ended lmao. Way too little content.

Forsaken is legit fantastic, but i do understand why everyone would be apprehensive because they fucked everything up before that.

So with Season of the Forge kicking off this week, Black Armory, the next expansion is dropping on Tuesday. This one will be smaller than Forsaken, about the size of Warmind from what I've read.

The rundown:

- Power level increase to 650
- 4 new exotic guns will debut.
- The hugely popular PVP hand cannon The Last Word will be returning, with its own quest line.
- Cayde's replacement as Hunter Vanguard appears to be appearing (I think I may have spoiled this for myself, but won't for anyone else).
- New raid called The Scourge of the Past
- New vendor and new activity (The Lost Forge) will allow players to build new weapons (I think these will be Y1 re-rolled weapons).

Nah mate, expansions include a storyline, a campaing etc. This is more like a MMORPG expansion except it's little content for the bucks and SHOULD have been a patch instead.

Bungie are continuing being greedy asf... Will still buy if I'm continuing on playing like I'm doing right now though. Just a shame they are killing their own game.

It’s Activision, not Bungie. It’s the publisher who dictates what, and by how much, they charge for additional game features. They also dictate how much creative freedom the developer has.

Picked it up this black friday and I'm loving the game so far. Big difference from how it was pre Forsaken. Forsaken really revived this game imo. Like I'm loving that I can use a sniper as a kinetic weapon and still keep my auto rifle as Energy weapon.

I'm also shocked that Uriel's Gift is still a legit PvP weapon. Is there any better auto rifle out there right now? Breakneck might be but I haven't tried it out yet.

Grinding hard for Sleeper Stimulant too right now. So tired haha... But it's going to be worth it... I think. :p

Just picked up Thunderlord and it's pretty damn fun. Can't wait for the next Arc reset.

Sleeper Stimulant sucks in Gambit btw lol. It's good for PvE though so I guess it's decent... But not worth the exotic spot rn. I got Cerberus +1 yesterday and it wrecks in Gambit. Helps me get modes really quick, then I swap to Uriel's from range / invader combat.

Cerberus+1 one is a bad boy. Great auto rifle for crowd clearing. I didn't even bother getting Sleeper. Didn't want it in D1 and don't want it in D2. I did get a Queenbreaker drop and that's working nicely for me with my hunter. Oh and this week is the Arc reset. Queenbreaker and Thunderlord are super fun, as expected.

So heads up that you need to be at least 610 in power level to complete your first Black Armory weapon forge. So weekly reset grinds are going to be in order for a while. Hopefully by the time I get there, there will be more weapons. I'm at 552 with my Hunter and 545 with the Titan and Warlock so it shouldn't take too long.

Also if you're below 550, enjoy an increase in Prime Engram drops. They really want you caught up to Raid/Dreaming City activity levels so those will help a lot. I got like 5 of those suckers over the 6 hours I played on Hunter. Those plus the drops I got from the weekly/daily challenges had me hopping up 8 power levels in one sitting. Gonna miss that now that I'm over 550.
