All Star Referee Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 9
Liverpool have no Europe and Spurs keeping ignoring Europe. At least one of these two teams will be in the top 4 for sure and one of them will be fighting till the last day for a CL slot.

Gotta love the PL spirit
Teams losing 4-0 and they keep playing their hardest for the remainder of the game risking injuries and such. Not like those beta males teams in La Liga that just bend over until they concede 8.

6 touches, 4 passes, 50 meters covered, one backheel to start the play and one to end it

slick goal but not a better finish than Mkhi's was, Mkhi's may have been marginally offside (he didn't know that) but Giroud's was lucky IMO, off the bar
Mkhi's was pure placement, left the GK for dead

Mkhi was a yard offside, goal shouldn't have stood and therefore should be disqualified from 'goal of the season' awards and such

I know you're trolling but I'm sure in some parallel universe on redcafe there are a couple of people discussing this very thing

Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool each have more points after 19 games this season than they did after 19 games last season.
Yet none of them are near Chelsea. Really puts into perspective how ridiculous their form has been.

It shows you how poor these teams were last year to lose the title to Leicester. A real challenger comes and it just wrecks the competition. Mule league doing mule league things

I think it says more about how shit everyone was last season and we're merely observing a mean reversion.
Not to diminish what Chelsea is doing, of course, 49 points in 19 games is fantastic, but last season was an outlier in terms of average performance by the top clubs.

It also says how shite the league is below the top 6 IMO.
That statistically most of the top 6 are having great seasons when the performances IMO at least say otherwise for the most part.

Completely disagree, below the top 6 is the strongest it has been in a long time. Top players like Payet and Mahrez play for 'scrubs', reminiscent of 80s Serie A.

Because good players play for "scrubs" it doesn't make them good teams.
Because quite clearly they are not good teams.

Yea agreed with this. PL has never been as strong as it is now below the top 6-8
