New year's in Torino
Hi,
Me and two friends are spending New Year's in Torino. We are arriving the 30th morning and leaving the 1st evening.
Could you recommend me a some top highlights?
And specially, what to do on new year's eve night? Should I book someplace to eat and buy tickets for some club? If so, what do you recommend? Or do you have in Torino some kind of open celebration outdoors? (or indoors).
Any advise would be welcome.

I don't believe anyone on this forum actually lives in Torino...
If you want to see the best of ITALIA you need to go south to the Amalfi Coast, Napoli or Sicily. Roma also is a fantastic city to visit.

Register on Juventuz forum , you might get some help even though 99% of the forum don't live in Torino. I know a couple of guys there who live in Italy though.

Ask in the talk about whatever thread.
Maybe other Italians like Robes can answer you there. Or Sri, I know he travels a lot.

You obviously don't know much about Juventus history or its fan base. Most Juve fans live in the south of Italy. My parents were born in the Amalfi Coast and came to Canada in the 50's. Most of my cousins and friends in the South are Juventus fans. Napoli, Sicily, Calabria, those areas are all dominated by Juve fans. Sicily probably has the most Juve fans in Italy. Even in Milan they have more Juve fans than Torino.
Most of the fans living in Torino are actually fans of the Grande Torino club who dominated Serie A back in the 1940's with 5 straight scudetti until their entire team was killed in a plane crash in 1949 and they never recovered. That team dominated Italy and the Italian national team. Juventus doesn't have a large stadium, about 40,000, as they would have trouble filling a larger stadium on a weekly basis.
Juventus is an Internationally followed club. Most fans live outside Torino and most Juve fans in this forum are not Italian.

Can't help free_cat, similar as juve_gigi here. Half the family is from the south (near Naples), the other is from venezuela. Going from rome to naples for the holidays. Only been to Turin once but never in clubs, just family trips.

No wonder you are a Rincon fan...
Do you live in Roma? My cousin and his family live there and my uncle is just outside of Roma. Roma is my favourite city in the world. So much culture and history there.

Lol, i have always wondered why a Juve fan choose "Rincon" as a username since he was playing for Hamburg SV on 2012-06-07
now it makes sense
