Don't know anything about the Witcher and never played a single minute of any of the games... Yet I will still watch this show. I have too much faith in Netflix not to.

A neat concept, but that show just made no sense to me. Very disjointed plot.

If this is what Netflix CEO means by "taking risks" then I suppose he's happy with this.

I would just divide the existing movies into 4 40 minute episodes and call it a 12 episode season.

Production level is going to be very high since I believe they want to compete with Game of Thrones or build a show like that anyways.

What exactly is the series going to be about? I'm a moderate Tolkien fan, but outside of the trilogy, 80% of the stuff is bs, the whole Shadow of Mordor stuff is absolute bs non-canon at all (enjoyable as it is), The Hobbit was a filler fest lol. Is it going to be about the Far Kingdoms? The Elven rule? A lot of this stuff is world building and isn't really a setting.

I hope its good because i enjoy high fantasy, but LoTR is going to be a challenge. They need to learn from the Shannara Chronicles if they want to succeed. I'm hoping it does well and paves the way for other fantasy series

Whats the library in France?

If they have all the HBO shows like in the US then I recommend Sopranos, The Wire, Band Of Brother, Six Feet Under, Deadwood.
