Lmao loved it when people wouldn't accept a lost cause

Come on. We all know Pep would swap out the fan favourite, Hart Beat for a broken silencer imported from Barcelona.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Can't see Pep not using Heart Beat sensors tbh, how else can he be a fraud and as much of a coward as possible to get wins?

Re: General Games Discussion
Decided to play through the entire Witcher series from start to finish.
Halfway through with the first game. Combat is def old and weird. Clickbased. Not enjoying it that much.
I thought Witcher 3 had a lot of sex. Think I've slept with 10 different women so far, including a 5-way with vampires.

Geralt my man
I couldn't make it through the combat in 1, it was just an hurdle I couldn't overcome.
I loved Witcher 2 though.

The reaction to this game if it was made today
You get a playing card with a picture of the woman you've banged every time.
Brb Gwent deck with only women I've nailed.

Re: General Games Discussion
Witcher 2 may hold up well, idk, I played it in 2013 and I was mad burnt out with gaming so I didn't enjoy it as much as I probably should have. Story was pretty cool though. Not touching Witcher 1 ever, looks horrific. Should have just jumped into Witcher 2 Thimmy tbh. IIRC it did a good job filling in the first game for me, never felt lost at all.
IDK if TW2 is a necessity for TW3 but it definitely made the choices more weighty, and when some of TW2 characters showed up for me it lead to some of the best moments in the game. So it's probably worth playing.
Did RG ever play TW2?

Never heard of the witcher series till TW3 lmao.
But I saw most of the game on youtube. Specially since I wanted to know more about Letho. Story was really good from what I remember.

The Witcher 1 was great when it came out. Unfortunately I moved and never had a gaming pc after that so I didn't play 2.
I liked 1 much more than elders scroll games at the time for example.

I actually enjoy 1 quite a bit Graphics are fine. The combat is just click based. I love the story.
Already completed 3 once. Just felt I needed more story.

you played dragon age origins Freeza? since you mentioned liking Mass Effect from Bioware. Probably my second favorite Western RPG of all time after TW3. 100% worth playing, I mean I haven't played it since 2009 but I imagine it holds up fairly well. Just don't play the following games in the series lol.

Is the story separate? Or will I lose something without playing other games

Re: General Games Discussion
I mean Origins is the first game in the series and feels like a fairly complete experience. The sequels are related, mostly the third IIRC, but I barely played that. The second one didn't feel very connected IIRC.

Nah never heard of it before. Looks very interesting though. £19 is a bit much however. Wait for a bit. Should be £10 in in a while.

nah, told you I've been smashing FIFA this weekend and raging, gonna play OW and Dark Souls next week, then about a month of Persona ffs
will play Rapture during the summer or something, along with Yakuza and Blood and Wine. Nothing interests me after Persona besides the Uncharted DLC thing

Re: General Games Discussion
Witcher 2 story was fantastic tbh, some really great characters who are either not in 3 or not much of a part.
It's a lot more political than 3 though which is a more personal story, I wish that some aspects of two carried over tbh but I understand why it didn't.
Also Letho is the best "Villain" Â in the whole series until a certain somebody in HoS.
BTW Freeza did you ever play the Witcher 3 expansions? If not you should why you'll are playing though the first two games.

Re: General Games Discussion
Apparently, I just completed Nier: Automata. I completed one of many endings, that is. And I'm super underwhelmed. I don't even know how to rate it. I've read comments on the internet saying that you have to complete the game with different characters, in order to fully understand the story (every time you complete it, you get to play it all over again from a new character's perspective), but I don't know if I can be arsed to do so. Maybe it's because I've been spoilt recently with games likes Horizon Zero Dawn, Yakuza 0 etc, but Nier: Automata had a fraction of the content, polish and entertainment value that those game have.
The game is pretty unique, the music is very good and I definitely liked certain things about it. It felt refreshingly different, at first. However, the story is a cliché with an anti-climatic ending that left me wondering if the other half of the game would continue after the credits stopped rolling down. The combat, while fun at times, can be very gimmicky and repetitive, and it feels like I just completed 1/4 of a game that had stuttering frame rates, repetitive combat, boringly simple enemies and very little going for it that would warrant the high ratings it seems to be getting from reviewers. I'll complete the game at least once more, just to see if there's any truth to the claim that you have to complete the game multiple times in order to fully understand and appreciate the story, but so far I'm really disappointed in the overall product.

Re: General Games Discussion
Been checking out PSNow. Its legit. The selection of PS3/2 games is really good.
GOW1,2 and 3. Some good JRPGs (Ni No Kuni, Tales of, Disgaea, etc.) All the Bioshocks. A Bunch of Telltale games. Ratchet and Sly Cooper games.
A lot of Resident Evils, Souls games (including DLC), Infamous 1 and 2, DMC, Ninja Gaiden, ICO and SotC, indie games.
Gonna get all up on that.

Witcher had a great twist at The end tbh.
Really liked the game.
Think I ended up with a total score of 9 women

Re: General Games Discussion
I'm not 100% sure how the ending paths work, but IIRC I read that the second playthrough is utter shit in that there's like a couple minor differences with your first playthrough, but the third playthrough is much different in terms of new story elements and characters.
the second playthrough sounds completely unnecessary
