Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
That year Lazio lost or draw against every big opponent (Juve, Napoli, Inter, Roma) they faced. They had a 6 or 7 win streak against mid table clubs in February which lead them to the 3rd place.
Inter needs someone like Simeone or, if i can say, Mourinho.

Im not saying Pioli should be the man, but he did achieve things in Serie A before.

If it's Pioli, then it means they think they will be able to get Simeone at the end of his contract after the 2017-2018 season.

Kia? Kia doesn't even know who is Pioli. ..... Pioli was wanted from Ausilio, the Italian management wanted an Italian manager that knew Serie A ..
Personally I wanted Marcelino, but not suprised about this choice.
Rather I am really shocked we contacted Zola not aKia? Kia doesn't even know who is Pioli. ..... Pioli was wanted from Ausilio, the Italian management wanted an Italian manager that knew Serie A ..

Rather I am really shocked we contacted Zola not as assistant but as first coach. .. Wtf ?? How can you call Zola as manager?
Zola meant relegation in Serie B and infact I was scared for the whole day (yesterday night Di Marzio said the Italian d assistant but as first coach. .. Wtf ?? How can you call Zola as manager?

Yes anyway for me the most relevant thing made by Pioli was to seem Gaston Ramirez the new thing of the world football under Bologna

It looks set now, Pioli should be the new Inter coach. Walter Samuel is also said to come back to Inter as part of his staff.

Pioli is a logical hire, no need to get a new up and coming coach or someone who will take time to instill philosophy. Plus its a short term fix until Simeone becomes available

SMH this means we are losing the derby. Every time they hire a new coach they beat us.

to be fair you had a bunch of plebs coaching you in the recent derbys except for Mihajlovic. Montella will get the draw got this.

Pioli always loses the derby . He was even sacked after a derby lost for 1-4. Just asking to McLewis or Laziale fans. And he is going to face the future Campioni d'Italia..

Conspiracy theory. Lazio benefits from the selection of Pioli as part of the deal to let him go will certainly be the ending of salary payments to Pioli. Lotito must have gotten to someone on the selection committee.

dat tinfoil hat theory. With Lotito, that wouldn't surprise me one bit although that is super Machiavellian. Doesn't strike me as a "The Prince" fan.

We're in a mediocre situation. We're on 2nd half of the table, so we must just limit the situation. I don't think he 'll be our manager next year.

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
Pioli can offer what Inter misses the most. Stability and professionalism.
Good choice considering the circumstances and also that Simeone is by no means a guarantee for next season.
If they went for Hiddink instead, who clearly is a short term solution, it would have been an indication that they are confident about Simeone's arrival for next season.

Pioli officially announced by Inter. Contracted until summer 2018. Sensible choice, I think he should be able to steady the ship and do fairly well. Simeone 2018 confirmed?

Perfect timing-wise. Simeone becomes available for the 2018-2019 season. They probably have an agreement in hand already.

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
My 1st choice was Marcelino and my 2nd was Real Gunner, but ok
Anyway , does anyone really believe he lasts until 2018? lol
I don't know if he even concludes this year.
Just saying next 3 matches : Milan , Fiorentina , Napoli.

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
I think they thought that marcelino was a gamble due to no Serie A experience and specially after De Boer project failed.
I don't like the looks of Pioli but let's see how he does.
I can't see him staying beyond summer.
