Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
It seems like Zola is wanted as an assistant coach to Marcelino.

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
Marcelino is as much of a risk as De Boer but at least he has managed in a top league.
Has there ever been a successful spanish manager in Serie A?
Hope he delivers but wish Inter would contact LVG already

I don't know enough about Marcelino to say. In this situation though, I'd go for a coach with Serie A experience. Inter need results ASAP.

Of course they do. They are 12th on the table. They need an immediate improvement. I don't think you appreciate what Inter is as a club.

Bielsa hasnt been mentioned so far. Marcelino is looking like the real front runner.

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
thats how the media is I guess.
All reports in Italy have been about Marcelino, Pioli, Guidolin, Hiddink, Cannavaro or so.
Now Pioli (initial favorite) seems to have been overtaken by Marcelino as clear favorite with Zola hanging around.

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
Marcelino received a bunch of luggage at his hotel in the early morning hours. Some are saying this is a sign that he will be the new Inter manager and the bags are his clothes and other personal property so that he can start work immediately.

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
Marcelino made Villarreal a solid defensive unit. They could've done better in attack but his h2h record against the Spanish top 3 was great. Iirc he had wins against both RM and Atleti at home and only drew against Barca due to some bs refereeing decisions. Inter seem to be leaking goals and with the players at his disposal he will make Inter hard to break down, i am sure of it

He doesn't, but its close. Not too unexpected given the teams he has managed.

Oh dear. Who is running this club? Where are the torches and the pitchforks? Are the Ultras too busy feuding with Icardi?

Re: Inter Next Manager Sack Watch
That year Lazio lost or draw against every big opponent (Juve, Napoli, Inter, Roma) they faced. They had a 6 or 7 win streak against mid table clubs in February which lead them to the 3rd place.
Inter needs someone like Simeone or, if i can say, Mourinho.
