1-0 Chelsea. Hazard. Very poor defending from Southampton, letting Hazard in behind far too easily.

Stoke are a very good side and should not be named in the same breath as those sorry saps from Sunderland or Hull.

If you are a betting man, Austin will score the next goal.

1-0 to Chelsea so far, Conte has implemented the same tactic he used with Italy. Lets sit and wait

I'm surprised nobody hasn't opened a "Hazard is Back!" thread yet to jinx the Belgian.

2-0. Costa beauty.
Chelsea need to be considered as one of the title contenders tbh.

Of course they have to be. Having the best player in the league alone makes them contenders.

What a goal by Costa but where was the closing down
Game over for Saints, the way Chelsea have set up. There is no way they will score a goal let alone have a shot on target

In fairness this system does get the best out of Hazard, we might get consistent performances from him now

Hazard in a free role, is a glorious thing. He's been scoring for fun for both club & country in recent weeks without stat-padding.

You made a mistake there.
It's not 'fun', but 'once'.

Come on now Gil, Liverpool doesn't have the best goalkeeper in the league.
