Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
KPB has underwent some amazing character development, was always a victim of racism in Italy, didn't want to stay there, it affected him mentally, and he even got depressed about it. Went to Schalke, wasn't still in the right mind, his life went to tatters after, drinking, smoking, doing drugs, clubbing, didn't care for himself, they culled him from the squad, he said he didn't have much care for football anymore. Then they released him. Sought a therapist, came back, to football, maybe that was why we picked him, to help him get through this, slowly started to love the game again, especially when he scored against Fiorentina. Stopped drinking, clubbing, etc, said he wasn't materialistic any more, and that he won't waste this gift thats been given to him, went to Palmas, stayed clean, got his head right. Really happy for him, seen that he's scored a couple of goals lately, genuinely wish the best for him. If he keeps this up, i can see him go to Sevilla next summer

For those who saw Hala's post and wondered what the hell he is talking about (like me), Barcelona lost the Catalunya Super Cup yesterday 1-0 to Espanyol.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
But they don't even consider themselves Spanish. So technically RM are Spanish champions and RM Castilla are Catalonian champions

Nasri made the wrong choice choosing France, who shunned him like nothing. Just saying, he would've been perfect playing in the midfield with us?

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
If anyone hasn't read about the aftermath of the Valencia v Barca game, there has been a little bit of a tittle tattle going on between Barca and Tebas the LFP president.
This is what Tebas said:
This is what Barca have replied with:
finally they are being called out publically by an authorative figure. Ten pin bowling ffs
This is what Tebas said:
Certain gestures and actions by members of the FC Barcelona team upon celebrating their winning goal are blameworthy," it stated, noting: "Certain members of the aforementioned football club simulated injury without having the launched object actually impact on their person
It looked like a game of ten-pin bowling. We've all seen those images."
"There are millions of children watching us," he continued. "If my children saw me feigning [injury] or something, I would be embarrassed.
This is what Barca have replied with:
FC Barcelona has formally requested that the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD) open disciplinary proceedings against Javier Tebas, who is the President of Spain’s La Liga, and the members of the Competition Committee, as a result of their unacceptable public declarations and assessments regarding the FC Barcelona players, who were attacked during last Saturday’s match versus Valencia CF at the Mestalla Stadium.
As a result, and following established procedures, the Club today is officially presenting both cases to Miguel Cardenal, the Secretary of State for Sports and the President of the National Sports Council (CSD), so that he may bring them before the Administrative Court of Sport, the body which will be tasked with making a decision on the reported incidents.
At the same time, FC Barcelona publicly condemns Mr. Tebas as the President of the LFP and the Club hereby fully withdraws its confidence in him from this moment forth.
finally they are being called out publically by an authorative figure. Ten pin bowling ffs

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
How can president of a league condone violence? Wait forgot that it was Liga Florentino Perez we were talking here.
In reality doesn't look very good those comments, I wonder what is CAS power on this case, because those comments prove corruption 100% and forces their hand if they have any kind of power. Then again they could be owned by Perez co. also.

He hasn't condoned what the fan(s) did. More like he has called you out for the play acting team that you are

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17
Problem here isn't playacting, you want somebody to notice violence, that's why you do that. If nobody went down, or noticed possibly lethal violent act never gets noticed.

Exactly, second time in a row in Mestalla, second time in a row Liga Florentino Perez is accusing the victim.
