Black Mirror || Chanel 4 & Netflix

Black Mirror doesn't go in order so it doesn't matter what order I watch it in, and I just watched ones that I could with my gf based on where she was in the series. So I watched the 4th one with her when she came to it, then the last one. Haven't seen any since then though.

Be Right Back is a pretty underrated episode, i might be in the minority but i consider it the third best episode of the series after San Junipero and White Christmas. i think part of the reason why it doesn't get the same amount of praise as other episodes is due to it being between two great episodes (Entire History of You and White Bear) so it kinda get overshadowed by them.

I think Be Right Back is the best episode of the series tbh

White Christmas, Shut Up And Dance, Entire History Of You, Hang The DJ, USS Callister is my top 5.

One of the things I like the most about Black Mirror is the variance in people's favorite episodes, to be honest. There are some widely agreed upon "shittier" episodes, but beyond those, opinions can vary wildly on it.

I think I'll watch USS Callister tonight.

How can I exaggerate my own preferences It is my least favourite. There's three episodes I decided not to watch. This one is my least favourite of them all.

For me it's Shut Up and Dance, White Christmas, Entire History of You, Nosedive, and San Junipero.

San Junipero especially left me all in my feelings.

San Junipero was positive. Black Museum and USS Callister had happy endings too.

I liked it because it was a well told story with two likeable leads who had tremendous chemistry. It would have been one of my all time favorites if they were not as subtle as a sledgehammer with their foreshadowing.

Pretty smart and fun. Not mind blowingly exceptional though. Would have liked more trippy endings.

Anyone watched the new season?

Yeah, I just finished it and its by far the worst season. Ep 2 was the best episode but even that was pretty average and very predictable and was carried by Andrew Scott's acting. Brooker needs to end this, he has run out of ideas. Hate how Americanized it has become.

So did Charlie Brooker completely stop working on this show and handed over the writing to the Netflix team? cause i find it hard to believe that the same guy who wrote The Entire History of You also wrote the Joana is Awful episode.

Black Mirror was already on a downward spiral after that Miley Cyrus episode but the season 6 really jumps the shark.

Watched the episode with Salma Hayek i thought the idea behind it was interesting but poorly exploited. As if they stole the scenario from the winner of high school essay contest.

From what i understand each episode is a short film so i took note of GL's favorites.

Finished season 1 i don't think it's the kind of show to be binge watched. As Pedram said 6 years ago, it's very thought provoking, in fact seems to be the main quality of this show.

National Anthem is awesome, the other two episodes were less my cup of tea. History of You is a cool setup but i get bored quickly off stories revolving around cheating and who slept with who. As for Fifteen million merits i thought was quite bad tbh. At least it's not a useless show they have good ideas that leave you pondering on what you just saw.

season 2 has the best episodes iirc

This series reminds me of the dystopias created by one of my favorite authors, Philip K Dick

This show is as inconsistent as it gets. So far in season 2

Be Right Back very good and touching

Waldo's Moment decent at best, as in Fifteen Million Merits it peaks with a rant heard million times before

White Christmas decent at best and obvious i could call any plot twist in advance, it also lacks coherence, surprised to see it among the best ranked episodes on here
