Credit to Burkina Faso for equalizing 5 minutes after Egypt had taken the llead. The game went to Extra time and in my opinion BF looked the more likely to get a goal. But nnot to be, it went to Penals. The 4th player to take the kick for BF was the keeper, which you dont see that too often, unfourtanetly for him, his kick was saved by the 44 year old Egyptian keeper and Egypt are through to the final.

I dont know what the average is, but I have to assume the Goals per game is real low in this cup. Which of course means it tactically genius right?

Bit of a F-up between the Ghana keeper and defender, from a free kick, leads to a Cameroon goal. And by "bit of" I mean huge and by defender and keeper, I mostly mean defender.

Cameroon surprised us or did people think they'll reach the finals?

I dont know if it was the Matip effect, but not only did Cameroon make the final, they actually won the thing. Did not see the game, but a late goal gave Cameroon a 2-1 win.

Kind of disappointed in the cup, low scoring games, half empty stadiums and not a lot of skill or flair from the games I watched.
