Busquets is more creative than Xabi Alonso. There's a reason Busquets was the player that gave most passes forward in the last Champions League. Also, Busquets can drible and go past players, Alonso can't.

He went because he loves the club (shock!) and because he wanted to improve his technical aspects, but we know how that ended up he carried the club more than ever.
Why did Messi go to Barca? Cos only they would give him his drugs to make him grow.

A typical Farca possession= domination fan Even 1% more than the opposition means domination, of course Shots on target or created chances don't matterKhaledbarca wrote:Stat of the day: Barcelona’s iron grip on ball possession
Statistics master Alexis [aka @MisterChip], spent some serious time looking at the way Real Madrid and Barcelona worked to keep the ball in Sunday’s first-leg SuperCopa encounter. By the end of the match, Barcelona emerged with 51.79% compared with 48.21 for the Merengues. To break this down even further: during the full 94 minutes and 32 seconds of time in the match, there were 50 minutes and 53 seconds of open play in which possession of the ball could be contested. Out of this time period, Barcelona held the ball 1 minute and 49 seconds longer than Madrid, and eeked out the majority of the possession for the match.
To look at the bigger picture, this match represented the 184th consecutive official encounter in which the Blaugrana emerged with superior ball possession. That’s a lot of matches!

Note: There is 2 ways usually to calculate Possession, Time in which a team has the ball or Number of Passes!
The above stats is according to the time in which Barca & Real had the ball:
==> Possession: Barcelona 52% - 48% Real Madrid!
--------------------------------------------
I couldn't find the Passing stats for this match..
but according to espn, Possession: Real Madrid 40% - 60% Barcelona!

Honestly that was the amount I saw in my TV. I don't get where the sources now say that Barca had more.
In fact, even LiveGoals.com says Real Madrid had 53%. IMO it's a reliable source and I use it all the time to get statistics from games
