Pretty much a match for the youth and fringe players. Doubt anyone is much bothered about this but I hope the kids and fringe players take it seriously and give their all and show more of what we saw in the pre-season. Will be difficult though as we don't really do well in this cup.

Bendtner might be playing against us so that should be interesting.

Worst thing about games like this is the chance there won't be any streams We're not on Sky, so unless someone else has picked up the game we may have to go with radio coverage.

We'll use this game to give minutes to players who haven't played much yet for one reason or another, and rest those who have. That usually results in a less cohesive team which effects performance. Hopefully they don't do what they did against Sheff Wed. last year and just not bother because we don't want another embarassment like that.

Niles did play right back in a couple of U23 games this season but this is a new position for him. Could be a difficult evening for him.

Rest of the team is as predicted, though. With that midfield pairing I'm actually confident our performance won't be too disjointed. Hopefully Lucas gets a goal and we get an overdue good game from the Ox.

So far our passing through midfield is excellent. Xhaka and Elneny controlling everything. Ox not playing well though, and we're struggling to get Akpom and Lucas in the game. Need more from our AMs.
