wtf are Sunderland wearing?
They're getting battered but somehow it's still 0-0. This means they'll nick a jammy goal at some point in the second half.

Spurs need to get Lamela or Eriksen in imo, preferably for Alli. Need something more in the final third and Alli has been average.
Not sure how Sunderland have managed to keep Spurs out, especially in the first 20 or so but they've done so. Keep playing as they are and I think Spurs will get a goal or two. Could easily see them losing via Jay 29's prediction of a jammy goal in the second half

Kinda surprised how many people were leaving Martial out in their United XI. Also how many people were including Mata in a wide role. I'd defo have Martial in my United XI.
And Schneiderlin, man, I feel like he completely disappeared from my radar after leaving Southampton. Feels like I haven't seen or heard of him since. No idea what his form is.
My United XI would be:

De Gea

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 3
The two hamstring injuries and Walker as well explain pretty much what I thought was responsible for Spurs starting slowly in the league--don't think they're fit. The English core for Spurs didn't partake in much of preseason, Dembele hasn't played many games and isn't match fit.
Hopefully they'll grow into it during the season. Kane injury didn't look good. Agreed, bad day for Spurs.
As for Janssen, deary me. You're a professional footballer, did he really just make that decision at the end not to pass to Lamela? Awful. Truly awful.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 3
I disagree.
Only thing still saving Spurs is there good defensive set up, once the teams in the league find a formula to get around that they'll be looking like a mid-table team again.

ManU. I have nothing to say. There's just so much shit going on, I'm not going to pour salt over fans' wounds.
But after a billion spent, multiple managers and big name signings...
