Agreed. But I respect and like Juve very much since I was a kid, followed them closely for a few seasons (almost all games) and I always felt them very close to Man United in terms of anything. Same with AC Milan (due to their amazing performances in UCL).

Same, i respect them a lot as well. If i sound like i'm being derogatory to them i apologize but tbh looking at it realistically Man Yoo are a bigger club.

He is still a WC player though. He is a huge improvement on Fellaini, Herrera, Rooney and Lindgaard. Doesn't matter if he plays in a pivot or 3. He is still going to make a difference.

They had a lean period between SAF and their last great period but they were not a mediocre club before SAF.

That's like saying Arsenal were a mediocre club before Wenger when it's really not that case.

Juventus have been successful in almost every decade in the 20th century in the toughest league in the world with the best teams at least back then. That counts for something. Juventus have had more Ballon D'or winners too.

Man United were just a good club before SAF. Juventus were the best club back then. Sorry its laughable when someone says United is historically bigger than Juventus.

It really depends on which adjective you use when using the term bigger. You could compare them historically, Worldwide fans, Brand, Money, Players, Domestically, European performances everything has a different result.

Because Juventus have historically been a team that have aimed for the league and they still do. For them that was the best competition back then. But that mentality changed and they started gunning for European honours. Juventus has won every international trophy in its history and were the first club to do so.

Let's all agree that nothing more has to be discussed than it has been said in this thread regarding these comparisons. Both clubs are amazing and we (Man United and Juve fans) should respect both of them, for the hard work of their staffs and their players during the years which ended with spectacular footballing moments.

Anything more from now on concerning this subject is just puerile in my opinion. Why? Because we forget what football is really about.

The big differences today are as follows:
- Man U play in a better and far more publicized league
- Juve play CL this season and Man U is in Europa
- Man U has far more spending power than Juve
- In term of superstars, Man U has more superstars
- In terms of which team is better, I would say Juve until proven otherwise
- In terms of brand.... that's a hard one. Depends where. Juve is a bigger brand in Latin America and Africa no doubt. It's a draw in the US. In Asia, Man U is much bigger

In the end, Pogba made the ONLY decision that he could tbh. Too much money and exposure to refuse Man U. Juve will be fine in the short term... although Higuain needs to come up big. Based on his current fitness, Higuain is worrisome.
