Congratulations to Messi and Argentina. I watched the first 30-35 minutes of the first half and Messi looked like he always does with Barcelona, like a world beater. Di Maria was also awsome.

My biggest surprise was that he missed the net in the 3 previous matches cause for some reason the games I catch with Argentina Messi usually scores and dominates.

Surprised that I didn't see Icardi or Higuain playing, the attacking options that Argentina have are unreal, best in the world imo. It would have been a big shame had they not qualified.

Icardi came on in the second half, around the 80 minute mark. He should've scored at least one goal, but unfortunately for him, Ecuador's GK was their only decent performer.

Messi only played 10 games. Scored 7 goals and gave 2 assists. It is all about him, Argentina wouldn't have been close to qualifying without him.
