Re: El Pipita | Gonzalo Higuaín
Fun fact, in terms of European football, I was in Italia with my family visiting relatives in the summer of 1982 as a teenager. So I watched the 1982 World Cup in Milano with my cousin's. Well when Italia won against Germany in the final you can just imagine the hysteria in Milano!!
I still remember that summer. It was one of the best summers of my life!!! That's when I got hooked on Eurpoean football and became a Juventino. Paolo Rossi, Gaetano Scirea, Dino Zoff, Antonio Cabrini, Claudio Gentile, and of course Marco Tardelli.
If you look at Italia today it is built almost identical to 34 years ago, with a Juventino in goal and a formidable Juventus backline with some Juventini midfielders thrown in. And of course Rossi. I still remember Gentile and Scirea destroying Maradona at every opportunity in the Italia/Argentina game. They were the defending champions and we owned them. Great memories.

I never realized Higuain's hairline was deserting him so quickly.

Was under the impression that Sedin twins era would end in the very near future, seems like they've been around for ages I hope not seriously, they are such an emblematic feature to the NHL.
And to relate my post to Juventus: big props to Brian Burke who did Marotta-like moves in order to get both of em in the draft.

His hair ran away from that furious loonie who owns his previous club Napoli. They'll be back in october if he acclimatizes himself well at Juve.

Vucinic was decent tbh. We got good money from him too. I really would rate him on par if not better than Morata at his prime.
Any news about how fit Higuain is and if his body shape improved further?

Tevez came at the same time as Llorente. Llorente quite impressed in the first few games I remember, so we didn't see much of Tevez-Vucinic ;p

Re: El Pipita | Gonzalo Higuaín
Amauri and giovinco was both a failure
Now someone may assume they was not used correctly or the team was bad and injury problems but even that is no excuse to score less than 15 goals for juventus level
Vucinic was talented i would say, it was not like he scored lots of goals but he had a good number of assists and he was always managing to pull the team forwards with one-and-two game he was good on team work, and somehow you can reason about that to be world class level
but today it happens that we have strikers who are as good as vucinic on teamwork but still score +20 goals which is way more impressive

I also hope to see more from pjaca
I understand we dont really play three strikers but if three turn out to be extreme good it forces the coach to play three

Re: El Pipita | Gonzalo Higuaín
3-4-3 could be good, especially if we are short in the midfield. But, it may be too risky. Pjaca said that his prefered position is to play as a left winger to cut in with his right foot. We would be perfect in the attack but maybe too shaky in the defense with this formation.
Buffon
Barz-Bon-Chiello
Alves-Khedira-Pjanic-Sandro
Dybala-Higuain-Pjaca
Dybala and Pjaca could be AMs rather than wingers.

Yep
I believe that can possible work because you have players on the team who can compensate for what is missing like cm, am, side back, side forward

It's good that recent reports say that Hig is starting with Dybala... It looks like Maxi wants to get Hig ready to match fitness before the game against Sevilla!
