Best Player in Europe - 2010/2011

UEFA has launched today the 'Best Player in Europe' Award for the best player in a European league during the previous season. The jury for the new award will comprise 53 journalists. The 3 nominees for 2010-11 award will be announced on 25 July, winner on 25 August.

i am thinking about the disgraceful decision to not award Sneijder who was the best player in the world in 2009, and instead gave it to messi who didn't do shit compared to Sneijder.

It would be better if it was only for European players, so players like Sneijder, Rooney, Cristiano. RObben etc. have a chance to win.

Messi would shine in a counter attacking team, he plays a quick game and has explosive acceleration, I don't see why he would fail there
