Re: Battlefield One
Out of curiosity, did you play anything but conquest?
Because conquest sucks imo. When me and Versacci played Hardline we never played it.

It's only that or rush on beta, don't like the look of rush
Although nothing pisses me off more than having 2 tanks go all the way out to the sand with no objectives around just to kill you because they seen you from a mile away.

Re: Battlefield One
There's too much back and forth bullshit on conquest imo.
I enjoyed Heist, Blood Money and the S and D mode on Hardline.
No idea what the equivalents are though mind, I know that conquest sucks though.

Re: Battlefield One
I played two games, last night. There were hardly any players on the European servers, so I just joined one and created a team. I'm not the biggest fan of capture the flag, but no one out of the 3 participating players seemed to go for the objective anyway. Sniping was fun, until the other team decided to start camping in vehicles. The tank vehicles seemed to spawn quite frequently. Is there a way to stop them without being inside a tank of your own?
I love the aim and sensitivity options. I cranked up the sensitivity to it's max setting from the options menu in the main menu, and then I noticed that there was a seperate set of sliders for adjusting it while in-game. The sound effects and animations when firing guns are top notch. I don't know how to rate the game, yet. The beta has 1 map and the same amount of game modes as OW

Played another map. Me and these 4 guys went flag to flag in a tank capturing all while enemy plebs were too busy flying planes

What? Sinai isn't the only map in the beta?

Re: Battlefield One
Roommate told me it's $70 for the base game and like $140 for everything plus DLC...is this true?

Probably is, that's how it was with Battlefield 4. I think it had four or five DLC's, essentially map packs plus some weapons, each costing something like $15. It's ridiculous, but I don't see why they'd do it differently this time round.
I played the beta for about 30 minutes, wasn't too thrilled. I occasionally play BF4 and BF1 just seemed more boring to me.

Re: Battlefield One
Graphics were good, Dynamic weather great. Think all games like that should have dynamic weather and even night and day. Easy way to turn 1 map in to multiple different maps in a way.
Gameplay... Still think there's way too many vehicles. And being *bleep* WW1 you can't smash them with appropriate Long range anti tank weapons. You needed to *bleep* run up to the tank and put a trip mine underneath it... yeah no.
If I had loads of spare cash i'd pick it up. But I'm not hyped.

Re: Battlefield One
I still might get it because i read you were all playing Conquest which i think is absolutely shit.
When me and Versacci played Hardline we played about 4 or 5 modes more than we did that piece of trash.
There's just too much to worry about and too much ground to cover if past Battlefield games are any indication.

M99 wrote:But reviews also said Mafia 3 is meh shite
Stand by that lol, i think the reviews for that were unfair. It has it's problems but nowhere near as was made out.
Also in fairness i'm not just talking about press reviews in fairness, i'm reading NeoGAF as well and with Mafia 3 most of them basically feel the same way as i do.

Re: Battlefield One
The stuff I got pissed off by I.E tanks being OP due to lack of WW1 projectile explosives were never gonna affect a review
I'll be getting it anyway at the end of the year, should do the job until cod gits gud again.
