Clubs and leagues represented in the EC

They look at the clubs and leagues sending the most players to France this summer.
Clubs
1) Juventus and Liverpool have the most players with 12 each.
Juve: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Sturaro e Zaza (Italia), Evra e Pogba (Francia), Khedira (Germania), Morata (Spagna), Lichtsteiner (Svizzera) e Mandzukic (Croazia).
Liverpool: Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge (Inghilterra) oltre a Martin Skrtel (Slovacchia), Danny Ward e Joe Allen (Galles), Emre Can (Germania), Simon Mignolet, Divock Origi e Christian Benteke (Belgio)
3) Tottenham: 11
4) United: 10

Napoli with 6
Leagues
1) EPL: 103
2) Bundesliga: 57
3) Serie A: 52
4) Turkish super lig: 35
5) La Liga: 34
6) Championship: 31
7) Ligue 1: 22
Surprised to see tons of players from the championship

The Championship has a lot of players that play for Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Wales, most of whom were likely in the youth systems of Premier League teams and simply dropped down into the lower leagues. Some of them even play for League 1 clubs currently.
Despite this N. Ireland won their group and Wales qualified automatically.

Not surprised at the Ligue 1 numbers since most foreigners are africans and the majority of the NT players play abroad .
