Just completed Ratchet and Clank.

Fantastic game and at times was actually a challenge on hard, took somewhere between 15 and 20 hours all told although if i didn't get stuck so long on certain hoverboard and puzzle sections you could knock a couple of hours off that altogether give or take.

I still have a few side objectives, weapons to upgrade and collectibles to get on previous levels before i start my NG+ playthrough as well so tremendous amount of value for £30.

If i had to get picky there were a few things i didn't like so much, for starters they changed some parts of the story from the original it's based on. For example in the original Ratchet hated Clank and i felt it showed growth in their character in the sequels to show where they came from but they like each other from the outset here which personally i don't like.

2nd is the Clank sections which are tedious at best and i personally could do without them but they don't happen often enough to take away from the overall experience and the 3rd is really scraping the barrel i would have preferred more meaningful customization and upgrades but that's really being picky.

While i expect Uncharted 4 to end up being better i wouldn't be surprised at all if it's in my top 5 for the year come December.

In other news NX is coming out in March 2017 and naturally Zelda has also been moved to 2017. With that in mind they say they won't unveil the NX at E3 and instead want to focus on Zelda entirely.

Disappointing, I understand most don't care but seeing new hardware revealed is always fun.

Also like hell there was nothing wrong with Mafia 2's gameplay (not bait this time).

AI was ass. A lot of monotonous and boring missions. Brb selling cigarettes. You were forced to drive home and sleep at the end of EVERY mission. Checkpoints were shit. There were long driving sessions every mission.

I remember this tailing mission. The guy I was following was driving like a retard. Followed him from one borough to another took ages, then he crashed the car and got arrested and the mission failed Had to start all the way from the beginning.

Talking about the core gameplay not the mission structure, AI or overall mission design. Besides let's not go down this road as GTA for example is hardly a saint when it comes to these things. (if anything outside of a few key standouts I'd argue it's just as bad)

Those are different arguments entirely, in terms of the driving and core gunplay there really isn't anything wrong with either.

Nioh is amazing.

Ghost of Sparta is the best game out of that list. If anyone has a PS Vita, give it a go. I liked it better than GOW 3.

It's an alpha lol, if it looked amazing visually it would be shocking.

Game won't actually be out for a long time I imagine, I enjoy it though even if I can't figure out where I'm supposed to go lol.

Now as they freely admit in the video, this is purely speculation. However, I'm curious what everyone's reactions would be if it turns out to be accurate and Nintendo do opt for such a radical departure from the current console set-up.

My first thought would is Internet good enough round the world yet for it to be viable?

I mean it sounds cool and all but what about for the people who have bad Internet?  

I do think it's the direction the gaming industry goes to eventually but maybe it's a bit too early.

BTW the reason it's launching in March and not this Holiday period is because at least they claim that they want there to be games available at launch.

Which is fair enough and understandable considering how Wii U launch was, I don't particularly gleam any substantial technical reasons from the release date.

Personally, i hope they dont go that route, im sure my internet woes in ME is well documented in the forum. Imagine having to stream games on it lol

In principle, i like the idea, but yeah when you have outside factors like shit ISP's or the country infrastructure is crap, its gonna suck. Anyone remember OnLive? One of my buddies got it and he couldnt play shit, i think it required a 10mbs connection, we barely hit 8mbs on a good day

Besides, games are ever evolving, what would say, large, graphically intensive games with huge worlds like Witcher 3 need?

Like i said, i like the day in principle but unfortunately external factors will mess it up
