Re: Ousmane Dembélé
Just realized Barca have signed Malcom. Hope that Dembele becomes available and we go for him. That would make my summer.

err..they did? I thought he was Roma bound. Odd. Why did they do that? The thing is, they'll be asking silly money to recoup the silly money they spent, I don't see you paying that. Or anyone.

Because competition, why shouldn't have a deep squad.
They spent too much money on this numpty but he is not that good yet. Competition is good. He will sink or swim

well, personally I don't even think he'll be available, as I can't possibly imagine Barca being so dumb as to want to offload such an extraordinary talent so quickly.

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
"Extraordinary talent"
Cassano was an extraordinary talent and he actually performed well for a few seasons. Dumbélé on the other hand has yet to register one classy performance for Barcelona.

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
Dembele is two footed so he can play on both wings right? We needed depth aswell since Aleix Vidal will be sold to Sevilla and Alcacer/Munir may also be offloaded

I dont like him either, Malcom looked way better even in his first game with us, but I am willing to give him another season to see if he can finally grow a pair of balls and start justifying his ridiculous price tag.

1. It's not his job to justify the price tag, he didn't ask Barca to spend over 100m on him.
2. It's pre season with regards to Malcom.
3. He played less than 20 games last season and clearly had troubles with injuries, I've never seen a group of fans give up on a player so quickly in my life.

He was great when he played. Almost outperformed coutinho and had better stats. I dont understand why he is always on the bench in barca and france team. It must be his character

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
Not at all. He's on the bench with France because Matuidi, Griezmann, Mbappe and Kante cannot defend set pieces. Need size. Giroud is big part of the defense on those plays. And with teams that park the bus, you need a true CF presence to occupy the CBs. Just not enough open space for a trio of Griezmann, Mbappe and Dembele. Once Mbappe moves to CF at club level, Dembele's time will arrive.
Dembele is an incredible talent. He spent half the season last year recovering from major surgery... and then trying to get his confidence back after the injury. It's a 1 year injury.
Please sell him He shits all over Malcom every day of the week. Malcom is like Coman, Costa, etc.... dribbling monkeys. Dembele is two footed, has pace to beat anyone and a willing passer... and can score. Coutinho is a AM while Dembele is a winger... so I don't even understand the comparison there.

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
If I remember correctly he played the first match for France and he was the worst player on the pitch. His exclusion was not cause of inability to defend set pieces as you claim.
Dunno what someone's injury has to do with consistent awful first touch touch. Dunno what an injury has got to do with a terrible attitude too. Remember when he stopped showing up for BVB's training in order to force a move to Barça? Barcelona even got him a personal chef because he probably missed his curry goat and claimed he couldn't perform without eating rice and peas. Still shit doe.

Exactly Mole. Very well, and clear put. This is the point most fans are too stupid to understand.
Negotiations between clubs determine a price, that can at times become seemingly random or excessive, and then that price suddenly becomes some personal debt to the fans which the player has an almost moral obligation to pay back

Makes no sense whatsoever.

You remember incorrectly. He earned that starting spot by being the best player in the last game before the WC. Australia basically fouled every time we had the ball... and the ref let it go. Everyone was having a hard time. Tolisso was probably the worse player on the pitch since he was in there specifically to help connect with the forwards and be physical... he got pushed around. As a result the forwards were stranded.
It was a shit game because the ref was a numpty.

They evaluated him at over 100M and apparently so do you by the way you speak of him but so far I've seen nothing of that. On the pitch, he's a mental midget who thinks he's playing street football with his numpties from the block.
Meltbele until proven otherwise.

that's racist man. what is wrong with you?
few times I saw Dembele last season his intelligence and, I guess confidence, seemed atrocious. could be one of those types that shines at a lesser club where there's no pressure, like current day Dortmund. It is stupid to write him off completely but it's just as stupid to start frothing at the mouth over him like a lot of people do. I'd say give him another season to prove himself but I honestly think Barca won't even give him that much of a chance this season.

He's barely had consistent game time because of those injuries, most young players take time to adapt to a different team. Much less someone who spent around a third of the season not available to play due to injuries.
Like i said i've never seen a fanbase give up/turn on a player so fast, he's not even had half a season with regards to his actual minutes played.
It's very embarassing.

Re: Ousmane Dembélé
dembele needs to play regularly and he won't get that barcelona he should move to arsenal. it would be best for him. they paid 100 mil for him and he needs to justify that price. the player should be willing to work hard and justify that trust his owners have placed on him.
