Re: Real Madrid vs Villarreal
You know things are bad with Danilo when trapping a ball has become a tedious task.

Re: Real Madrid vs Villarreal
Per usual... without Bale, we have absolutely no speed so the opposition just crowds the middle. So freakin narrow.

Need guys to keep drifting wide as opposed to drifting in the middle...

Ronaldo made the adjustment... he's actually playing the winger role for once. Good for him.

Marcelo needs to start realizing he's supposed to defend ffs.

Re: Real Madrid vs Villarreal
Looking clueless imo. Lucky goal apart. Ronaldo when stayed wide can be useful. Too bad he wants to camp in box.
Re: Real Madrid vs Villarreal
Bah Gawd Ronaldo has been absolutely unplayable. What a half from him. We are playing excellent. Absolutely love it
Feel sorry for Danilo though. He has had some misplaced passes and it doesnt help when he gets booed for poor passes from his teammates. He looks frustrated. To top it off the incompetent Clos Gomez gave him a yellow when he didnt even touch anyone

Don't know what game you are watching hala.. We basically created zero chances in the first half. I'm actually struggling to remember a shot on target.

I was going to say. What's even more interesting is that he's got the speed, stamina and skills to do it as shown in the first half. I thought he can no longer do it but clearly I was wrong. Which brings me to this question, why doesn't he do it more often? He did it twice in the first half, and twice he dribbled past the Villarreal defenders and left them in the dirt. He should really do it more, especially when we're struggling to crave out chances inside the box.

I know Danilo has been poor, but the jeers from fans really aren't helping the situation. He can't be this bad. Surely, he's bothered by the recent criticism towards him.

Re: Real Madrid vs Villarreal
@adit, Lucas' shot that sailed over, Benzema's shot on the keeper and Ronaldo's shot that Asensio saved. Bear in my Villarreal have no interest in attacking us and are camped in their half. I say job well done.
Marcelo does 98% of the job so well then comes the final ball/decision and you just cringe. We could have so many more goals a season if his crosses werent so weak or blocked by the 1st defender
Our right side is dead. Everyone ignoring it lmao

Villarreal's defense is very strong. I'm happy with a 1 or 2-0

Re: Real Madrid vs Villarreal
Very good game... great halftime adjustments. Benz dezoned to pull the defenders out and we rebalanced by emphasizing an attack on the right side. We surprised Villareal with our tactical adjustments and they opened up.
Great win.
Great win.

zidane good job with the line up
some posters need to give it up and just admit they don't know anything about football, nitpicking and complaining doesn't mean you know anything, means you just love nitpicking and complaining.

Hope Ronaldo's injury was no bad. We cant lose him now of all times. If it was the hamstring which it looked like then he will be out for 2 weeks. Cant have that

Should he be rested against Rayo? I think he should, we must aim at CL, i'm not saying we should give up but our primary focus should be the CL, in the league we have to rely both Atleti and Barcelona lose points and we need to win every single match, with Cl between our away games it's complicated , this an opportunity for James or Isco to play in Cristiano's position

Re: Real Madrid vs Villarreal
He should definitely rest against Rayo. Jese is more than capable of taking over. Zidane will have to be a conplete wimp to play him after this scare along with Bale and Carvajal
